Salon in a Bottle Root Touch up Hair Spray (Medium Dark Brown)

I can't begin to describe how amazing this product works, and not just from the cover the gray standpoint! The design of the nozzle is exactly what you need, which doesn't seem to matter until you try another product and then you know just how important that is. Having dark hair, it's necessary to have a white nozzle so you can see where you are spraying! Also the spray comes out in a light and easy way. Some other products I've tried it feels like a fire hose. Finally, never a drip! With other products, there were always drips on my face, that were not easy to get off! Never a drip with Salon in a Bottle. Awesome product!!!

Best touch up spray in the market for staying power. It has a tiny little nozzle that allows you to direct it right on your growth line. One spray lasts a few days, even after full scrubbing and shampoo! It does leave a greasy feeling that you may not like but I love that I can make my hair color last an extra two, sometimes three weeks. I notice white peaking through a week after dying my hair!! Aaargh! So annoying!! "Salon in a Bottle Root Touch up" allows me not to have a skunk stripe for an extra two weeks. Granted, you'll have to rub some of it off before dying your hair and you'll probably have an inch worth of white hair (if your hair growth is anything like mine) but I don't mind. I've tried a lot of other sprays, powers, mascaras and this is my absolute favorite. It's more expensive but I'm willing to pay the extra because of its effectiveness. The only negative for some will be the greasy feeling. There, you've been warned. In spite of that, I'm giving this product a solid five stars.

Product does what it say it will, Very satisfied with it. Does color the hair roots and does a good job. The bottle size is smaller than I had thought, but it works. Good purchase.

I really don't see how this product has more than one star. I have black hair and tried it for the first time the other day. It was a MESS. Covered great, but rubbed off all over my hands. And continued to rub off everywhere. I was afraid for my head or hair to touch ANYTHING. I went to bed that night without washing my hair and woke up to a pillow case with black all over it. What a disaster. Either I got a dud or something is VERY WRONG with this product for black hair specifically. I've tried other root touch ups including the Oribe version, which is in the same price point, slightly more expensive, but MUCH MUCH better.

Works well . I like this product easy to apply and covers my grey hair

My hair is just starting to go grey. I am not ready to start the 6-week routine of coloring my hair that my Coworkers do. I have never dyed my hair before so I am a little hesitant to start and look so drastically different. This product seems to be just what I need - for now. I put it in to cover a few grey hairs at the top of my head. It seemed to stay in for several days even after washing my hair. By a week later, it was definitely all gone. My hair is medium brown. I ordered the dark blonde shade and it matched perfectly. Because this is a spot application thing, I think it is better to go lighter so you won't notice the application areas. I am not sure it is necessary, but I wore plastic gloves to work it onto my grey hairs since they are longer than just the roots. You apply this product to dry hair & it says to let it dry for at least 5 minutes. It seems to stay in nicely and does not run in the rain. It is nice to feel pretty again. One more thing I wanted to share. A wise friend taught me not to pluck gray hairs. She said it is better to cut them short instead. The reasoning is that when you are old, with thinning gray hair, you will be happy to have every last hair. If you plucked them out when you were younger, it may damage the root and they may never grow back. My friend said that your old self will thank your younger self.

One of my favorite purchases. Very helpful but plz do not touch your hair after applying it. Your nails will become darker if you scratch your head. Allow to dry after applying it and follow the instructions to avoid messing up your face

Long lasting and actually not easy to clean it off the hair.. it gives a nice covering for white hair

This product is the best I have used to far
