These work, even in the unconventional sense
I'm glad I had these frame sliders on my 2013 R6. I was riding around on Easter and a distracted driver wasn't paying attention, and T-boned me at an intersection. His bumper hit my right frame slider and I glanced off his car. I managed to not drop the bike and no one was hurt. I was infuriated because it was horribly bent and I was afraid there was frame damage. On the ride back, I realized that had there not been the frame slider on my bike, my right knee would have been taken the brunt of the man's bumper and I would most definitely have needed to visit the hospital.I removed the old frame slider to find a simple broken slider and warped screw. I would take that fix any day over a hospital visit! 5/5 would recommend!

Nice look
They look good, easy to put on. They do have a pretty cheap plastic feel so I don't know how well they would do if I dropped the bike. Im overall happy with the way they look. Not worth the $$$ though. The sliders are plastic themselves with a really thin "carbon fiber" sleeve over it.

My left side slider took the hit & did an excellent job of protecting the bike
I installed these sliders on my 2014 R6 as a precaution. Sure enough some gravel on the road caused me to lose traction and I went down. My left frame slider took the hit & did an excellent job of protecting the bike. My only complaint is that shogun offers to replace your slider if you send back the old/broken/damaged one but they wont reply back via e-mail so if you're looking to get replacement parts from them don't waste your time. On a side note this product is available much cheaper elsewhere.

Fit perfectly!
Little bit of downfall is that there's no manual or instructions but no big issue there. After that it's all good!

Fit and look good on my 2012 R6
Fit and look good on my 2012 R6. However when screwing on the end caps they seemed to strip the threading if tightened to much.

Sticks out too far, looks goofy
These look a little goofy on a 2016 R6, they just stick out too much. Shogun makes quality products though. I returned and got Woodcraft.

Highly recommended, great look, great fit.
Ordered to put on a 2010 Yamaha R6. They went on easy and are excellent quality. No cutting or drilling of the fenders required which was my biggest concern. I would highly recommend these to a friend, buy with confidence that you are getting a quality product.

Excellent product.
Literally dropped the bike a day after installing. They saved every part of the bike but the left side footpeg.
