Amazon Basics Modern Exterior Door's Handle with Right-Hand Wave Lever and Deadbolt Lock Set, Matte Black

I try to save myself money by DIYing things around the house that I bought this past year myself. The door handle on my front door was really hard to open and so I bought this hoping it would make my life easier. As soon as I opened the package I realized how attractive the door knob actually is and once I got into installing it I realized it was pretty straightforward as long as you have your measurements correct on the cut out of your door. I know longer have any issues getting in my front door and as an added bonus it's really attractive!Update** Horrible!!! Don't buy unless you like to be stranded outside your house without being able to get in!!! The turning mechanism on the inside of the thumb press stop working and seized leaving me unable to open my door at all. I had to call a locksmith and pay for it for them to Jimmy my door open almost breaking my frame. Horrible cheap item!!!!

After comparing prices with Home Depot and Lowe's for similar products, I found the selection both sparse and very pricey. That's when I jumped on Amazon and found this much cheaper alternative. At first I was wary, but decided to order it anyway.I just had the door hardware installed and not only does it look great, it's also of very sturdy construction and funcitons smoothly. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Very Pleased....I do like the finish and have received many compliments on this.I know there is some bad press out there on this but it works just fine. Installing locks takes some skill to make it work right. In this day and age people are just incapable of turning a screwdriver, or when it does not work perfectly snap ! they say it is no good..I say this is an excellent value for a simple lock. don't hesitate .PS i work in the trades.

These are beautiful and functional, I replaced the lock for a pin pad. The handle gets stuck sometimes and I wish it was a little more durable but the price is great and add a great touch to any door.

This handle is so sleek and modern like.My husband had a hard time with getting it installed, not sure if it was the handle and lock or our door but he had to call a friend to come and help.But I love how easily the door opens and closes. Before switching the handle out we had a hard time getting the door open from the outside because the button wouldn't go down all the way. This button is so easy to press down and super smooth. The lock is super simple and sleek. I'm very happy with this.

Great and solid quality. Wasn’t expecting much from amazon basics, but to be honest I’m sold. Decent quality, has good weight to it. There’s a kind of a laminate over the paint job that prevents finger prints, but gives it a slightly plasticky feel.

Not heavy duty for a door on a home. Did not install and a loss of money

Easy to install. Beautiful on my front door. Bought in July 2021. It is November 2023 and most of the black is scraped off the thumb plate where your press to open the door and scratches are all over the handle. Silver/gray underneath the black. It looks bad. At least it can't be seen from the street but when guests come over YEESH! I had the exact same type of handle before but it was gold. I bought a new door so I bought this hardware. My gold one I had NEVER scratched. Had it for 14 years before I bought this one (it was on the house when I bought it). I could tell the gold one was a different, stronger type of metal. I just thought it was newer so things are made differently. Wouldn't suggest the purchase unless you're just looking for home appeal to sell.

I bought some basic door knobs from this brand and a 150 dollar handle, the handle was absolute garbage and i sent it back the next day, i bought this and a digital lock to go with it for less then the 150 dollar one and it doesnt even compare to this the quality of this, easily best bang for your buck

I had priced around for a long time and these are not cheap to find. This is a really great price and really heavy and sturdy.Very easy to install and comes with great instructions.Easy bar flip interior handle is nice and smooth to open.Nice flat black but mine will be behind a screen door so if yours is in the direct sun it may get hot to the touch being black and all.I had one prior on a south facing door and you could hardly open it, it was so hot in the south facing door.

Fue un poco problemático el ajuste de la chapa para que me permitiera sacar la llave una vez cerrada. Incluso los cerrajeros lo encontraron complicado. Al final, con un poco de paciencia y suerte, quedó.
