Helps cook food faster and melts cheese very well. Nice kitchen tool to have. I would love one that was see thru. Lightweight and easy to clean.

I’ve been using this Cuisinart melting dome for a couple of years now, and it’s still in great shape! It’s perfect for melting cheese on my griddle—I use it for grilled cheese, cheeseburgers, and even omelets. The stainless steel construction is sturdy and well-made, and it does a great job trapping heat for fast, even melting.I usually wash it by hand, but my son has tossed it in the dishwasher multiple times, and it has held up just fine. I think the 9-inch size is versatile—not too big, not too small. Cuisinart never disappoints! Highly recommend to anyone who loves cooking on a griddle!

This is a nice size (12inch). I brought it to make fried rice on my blackstone but instead my first use was to smoke some salmon. I used the rack and put wood chips under it. Covered it. It was delicious. The cover has vents to regulate temp. The skin was crispy. I look forward to using this smoking method in the future.

This is an awesome little lid that is great for melting a grilled cheese, etc on a griddle and keeping things warm in a pan. Just what I was looking for!

Great product

Very well made and useful on the flat top grill. Perfect to either melt cheese on top or to hold things at warm temperature until the rest of the meal is easy to come off of the grill. The dome sits over top of the rack but does not come all the way down just fyi. I didn’t realize that but am still very pleased with it.

This dome is a convenient fixture on my stove. I keep it there to avoid constantly going into the cabinet to look for a top at a moment's notice. It is light weight and easy to clean. I've had it for a couple of months, but so far, no rust. It is dishwasher safe, but I wash it by hand to ensure longevity. it fits several of my pans perfectly to prevent splatters or melt cheese quickly.
