Nice, but beware
I purchased this to plug into my car's iPhone interface, which posed a couple of problems. First was, as I don't have a WiFi network installed in my car, would it actually allow me to connect to it through WiFi (and if so, would I still be able to stream music from things like Pandora)? The good news is yes. As long as you don't change the network from the default name of something like "Dolry-xxxxxx" you can connect to it and stream music. That is the good news (and a feature that they don't promote). The bad news is that this unit only plays music to speaker docks that support analog music. Digital speaker docks do not recognize this device. I can see it and stream music to the device, but the sound never leaves my car stereo. This will not impact most people, though. If you have something like a Bose speaker dock, you should be just fine. If you have a stereo (or car stereo in my case) that allows you to see the track names and navigate music, you are probably hosed. Also, it turns out that the website and all documentation beyond the quick-start guide are in Chinese, so be prepared to fire up Google Translator if you need help. On a side note, even finding their website was difficult. For your reference, you can find them at http://dolry.cn/support.Beyond this hiccup, it is a nice unit. I like that it derives its wifi power right from the speaker cable, and sound quality was better than other Bluetooth options I have tried. Despite my problems, I chose to keep it, and just use it with a speaker dock that I decided to use again.

It gets the job done!
I stumbled into the world of Airplay by accident, (buying a airplay speaker for my father for xmas). Long story short, after doing the research for him, I had bought a couple of airplay speakers for the house thinking I could stream to multiple at a time from my ipod while it was plugged into a dock and going to the main receiver in the family room. Once I got the speakers, I learned the hard way that apple has in in it's wisdom decided you can only stream to multiple devices from a PC, iPod, iPad and iPhone are all one device ONLY. and suddenly my dream of a cheap whole home audio system seemed to vanish in front of my eyes.I originally started looking at some software alternatives, (there are ways to use your ipod as a airplay receiver) but none seemed to be the nice, easy way I was hoping for. My Stereo Receiver is a few years old, but really does what I want it to well and I didn't like the idea of shelling out $600 to replace it just for Airplay. Did some digging and came across another company's 30 pin airplay receiver that everyone seemed to love. Unfortunately, they seemed to be out of stock everywhere and the main company's webpage says "check back in 2015". Little more digging, and I came across this unit. Overall reviews seemed positive, so I debated for a bit until the seller was down to 1 left. Being after xmas and having some Christmas money to play with, I figured what the heck.Unit came quickly and well packaged (a day earlier then anticipated in fact). My rating above is for the unit, the seller C4 Electronics would get 5 stars for their service and shipping times. Unit is small, (think fits in the palm of your hand with room to spare small) and is pretty basic. It plugs into your dock, has a couple buttons you will NEVER use, and a little white lite that tells you its connected. The name "stone" really is apt, it looks and feels like the perfect skipping stone. Dropped right into my old 30 pin dock no problem. Followed the instructions, downloaded the app from the app store, and in 5 minutes, was up and running.Overall performance is good. Had some network issues to start with some serious conflicts that I needed to do some behind the scenes work on my router (hence the 4 star rating, if you don't know how to log into your router and do some tweaking, you may have issues) but once I got that done, seemed to work fine. Had a bit with some pretty significant "stuttering" issues at the getgo, which was frustrating as the unit sits INCHES from the router, and the 2 other speakers are a good 40 feet away with a wall in the way and had no issues. I was about 1/2 a step away from returning it, but decided to give it another shot. However, after those initial issues, has been working fine. Played for a solid 9 hours straight last Saturday with nary a issue. (My wife kept joking not to say anything and jinx it!)Overall pretty happy. I now have a whole home audio setup that between this and the 2 speakers, cost me under $150. My setup is my PC, and my 3 units all connected wirelessly, so I think the "strength" of your router to move data will really make or break this and your overall Airplay experience in general. Given the signal is done over the wifi, you have a pretty rich data stream and thus, the capacity for rich sound. (versus Bluetooth which has to compress the audio signal to transmit over the Bluetooth signal)If you have a old 30 pin dock, really tough to go wrong! Again, minor complaint about the setup issue but all in all, great unit for a good price! (Heck of a lot cheaper then buying a new, Airplay enabled receiver!)

Works as advertised. Had no problems pairing it to my home wifi with 802.11n & WPA. The only reason i'm not giving it 5 stars is that for some odd reason, it has a slightly different delay compared to official airplay devices. This makes it slightly annoying when using it in the same area as other airplay devices playing the same source.

Doesn't work with all 30 pin connections.
Doesn't work with all 30 pin connections. I have a Klipsch system and Dolry won't even turn on or be seen on the network

Initial set up was a success with easy to follow instructions. Unit died after one song. Only bright side was Amazon's easy return. I just printed the label, boxed it up, and put it back on my porch. Now I'm trying to buy an Auris, but they are currently out of black units.

frustrated...
Incredibly frustrated with what was supposed to be a very simple setup of a new tech toy... You'd think a three step guide was a good thing and you'd be very wrong. Follow each step as told... FAILED setup, use hard reboot, every time... after six tries on two different devices I'm starting to want to use this Stone S like every other stone I've known and throw it but that would be a rather expensive release. As a fairly techy smart person this is even worse cuz its as if the steps were written for the computer illiterate and I'm using my brain too much when I should just be reading half of each word and skipping lines and BAM, look at that it works just that easy!

I love it
This is a great product, i am 100% satisfied !I stream the music with my existing home WiFi network. I used to have problems with other Bluetooth devises making the sound really bad, but this little Dolry device is just so much better!
