This is a beautiful book on the shelf. I haven't had the chance to read it yet, but it looks great.

I love this cover! It's aesthetically pleasing and sturdy. The book came with a little ribbon too. The collection of stories is also awesome, it doesn't feel like I'm missing any other great stories by Wells. I would absolutely recommend this book as a gift or for a personal purchase.

I did not have a lot of confidence in the rendering of these classic books from print to Kindle because the author's name in the cover was H. G. Well, not Wells. But the text of The Time Machine was fine. Can't comment on the other books in this collection.

The book is good to read.

This collection of stories is perfect. I have bought 19 of the Canterbury Classic Leather Bound books. THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL! The quality is incomparable. The acid free paper. The gold gilded page edges are lovely to look at, and a joy to turn. They all have a built in ribbon bookmark. 2018. My resolution was to start my home library; compiling the classics first. And, these are must have classics for anyone who genuinely loves books.

The writing font/letters are to small. They compressed manny books to save money on printing paper. I dont recomend

Excellent selection of H G Wells' classic and best loved novels ! Lose yourself in some of the finest science fiction ever written in English. What an imagination the author had ! And such superb use of English language ! A collection to read again and again ......

Diese Zusammenstellung von den Werken H.G. Wells, der damals so vielen bereits meilenweit voraus war, ist für kritische Geister ein Gaumenschmaus sondergleichen. Vor allem handelt es sich hierbei um ein Leather-bound Classics Exemplar, die bekannt für ihre wunderschönen Einbände sind. Allein der Einband ist es also wert, das Buch zu kaufen. Zur Übersetzung gibt es auch nur positives zu berichten. Tadellos! Für alle, die ihren Geist anregen möchten und offen sind für Gedankengut, das nicht dem Mainstream entspricht, geeignet.
