A Great Beginner Airbrush!
I'm really very new to using an Airbrush, but I've been using rattle cans for a long time; painting everything from models to my old pickup truck! After looking online and lurking on various forums, I decided on this kit. For the price you get everything you need to begin painting except the paint. The dual-action is an added bonus, and one that I highly recommend. If you are new like me you will outgrow a single-action brush quickly, I think.Back to the kit. The compressor is a sturdy looking and fairly hefty little brick of a unit. If it's sitting on your table the rumble as it runs may be annoying, but under the table you hardly notice. It is pretty quiet. The airbrush itself seems well-made and the action is very smooth. I've got to where I can make nice dots from small to large, and can sometimes make a nice smooth straight line. Haha!Cons:It would be nice to come with quick connects and maybe another bottle. But that's all I can think of after only having this short time. I'm using some black acrylic paint from wally world. It is thick-ish and I dilute it 3 to 1 with water. Acrylic is good for newbies because it cleans up with just water.Enjoy!

Very conveinient
Excellent value! I've been modeling for 50 years and this is the quietest running compressor I've used. It performe just as well as my expensive IWATA for a fraction of the cost. Small size allows for easy set-up. The included airbrush, while not a "top shelf" sprayer works flawlessly and sprays like a dream. The pressure shutoff feature is worth every bit of the compressor's cost. Runs very quiet withj very little vibration. On smooth surfaces tghe "suction cup" style feet hold it steady. I installed a " + " fitting to run multiple brushes. To prevent the compressor from "cycling" often I recommend using teflon tape on all fittings. I was able to reduce the "cycling" on/off to approx 1-2 seconds every 40 wsec. to 1 minute. No overheating issues. The pressure regulator and moisture trap are already installed fo thats less expense to incur.

item works very well
Uppon arrival, the regulator on the air compressor was in non-working order. After placing a call to the supplier, a new one was quickly sent and has worked very well. This system is very easy to use and so far I have had out standing results. I use it to paint model car bodies. This setup has made a world of diffrence in the quality of the build ups. Everything hooks up very easily and can be running in about 5 to 10 minutes. I am a beginner at air brushing so it would be nice if the set up came with some sort of instruction manual. I was left guessing on the hook up but figured it out, however, I still have two parts that I am not sure what their use is. Over all I am satified with the product and the service of the supplier.

Great quality product
Amazing product for the amount of money it’s cost. First thing I like about this product is how small it is compared to most compressors. The second is how it can hold the air pressure very well. Lastly it’s really affordable. Now the cons of this product is why I’m giving it 4 stars overall. The description says it’s quiet I’m not expecting complete silence but there it is a little louder then I was expecting. Right when I turn it on you can hear it just rattling around on the floor. So I put in a closet to see if that would quiet it down an it didn’t. The next is that it doesn’t give any adapters I mean it’s a just in case Kind of thing. The next is the instruction manual. For a beginner not knowing how to use somethin like this the instructions should’ve been a bit more detailed. I absolutely love this product an I plan on getting the most out of it. I want to say thanks to whoever made this little mini air compressor it’s a good quality product

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME
Out of the box this kit worked perfectly! For my uses, I spent some extra cash on adding a reservior tank and did some molten metal work to fit in an air system, and the compressor will actually go up to 65 psi stable, with a buffer. While setting my air supply, I also disassembled the compressor head and added regular car motor oil both on top piston and below, to reduce friction and prolong the life of what looks like a designed part failure from china. The cylinder sleeve is made of silicone-impregnated plastic. The air intake goes through a reed valve on top of the piston, and is finally blocked by a cheap rubberized plug in the head manifold. What I did was convert the unit into a much better compressor-tank-assembly, by splitting apart a very complete kit.The airbrush alone is finely tuned and works well with hobby shop paints. What I did was add quality to a really good starter kit that worked fine right out of the box.

Missing set screw for crankshaft. Pump free spun after couple times of use.
I bought the pump and air brush kit in February, but didn't get the hose until 6 months later. When I have the pump and the air brush kit connected together with an 1/8"BSP hose, I gave it a couple test. At first it was working fine, top limit was at 60psi, foot switch functioned well, all seemed perfect. But when I tried to crank down the regulator, weird things happened. The pump started to hesitate, outputing like only 20psi, even I crank the regulator all the way up. And couple minutes after, the pump could only free spun without increasing air pressure.Upon "autopsy", I found that there were NO set screw for the crankshaft, as shown in the picture I took. It's not broken, not backed out. IT WASN'T THERE.I will try to locate a set screw to bring the pump back to life, but I would sincerely recommend the manufacturer to work better on the quality control. After all, not everyone of your customer is a mechanic.
