I have four of these gates in black . I bought the gates that are the tallest as I have three large dogs. I needed to block off areas in my home from the dogs. I thought wow tall gate maybe that will intimidate my band of merry and active dogs! One dog being a Doberman, the other two dogs just slightly smaller. I was RIGHT! They have not tried to jump on the gates or tried to get through them. No, they are not cheap but they are worth it! I love that you can install them in different ways. For instance I didn't want the hardware for this gate to be in the hallway. I worried it would take away from the width of the doorway and would then interfere with moving furniture or carrying laundry through the doorway. So I had the hubby install the gate for me in a different way. (I posted a couple pics for you to see how we mounted the gates.) In doing it this way the gate is totally out of the way. I installed two of the gates myself and had no problems. The directions are very clear and easy to follow. I have received compliments on these gates, and have had friends purchase them as well for keeping their children safe around stairs. These gates have a neat feature that locks the panel in place so they are taunt. I had two of the gates for over 11 months and they look and feel just like the day they were installed. They have been durable, so far so good? They are perfect!

This is an extra heavy duty gate and it replaced another one my little dog was able to get under. This is a high quality gate and even comes with a floor mount which I did not use to anchor the middle of the gate when extended. We tried another one and it was not secure enough but I would buy this one again in a minute. The metal bars they put in kept the top or bottom from buckling when my dog tried to get out going under.

The media could not be loaded. If your dogs are smart they will figure it out also my Great Dane ripped a hole in it within the first day of installation.

So I got the 55” wide but it’s not quite enough. Other then this issue everything else like installation, the look, the height is all good.. Exactly what we needed but the width is just a bit off. Any suggestions on where to get the extra piece?

My grandson would say this is horrible as it keeps him from climbing the stairs. Perfect height to go from the floor to the top of the post infront of the first step. Keeps kids and dogs from using the stairs. Retracts easily and barely noticeable when walking past, I love that we can easily detach it if neededbut with it being only about 4in deep havent had to that yet.

I got 2 if these to block off a hallway with large door ways. It’s a bit easy to install but once we got it up it was good to go

I bought these thinking it would keep my dog out of places well I was wrong she got thru them like dinos do in the forests.

I purchased this extra heavy-duty pet gate to keep my husky from going out of the garage, and overall, I’m impressed with its quality and functionality. One thing to note is that this gate requires some screws to attach it securely to the walls, so be prepared for a bit of installation work.This gate works well for dogs that respect boundaries. However, if your dog is more determined or a chewer, be aware that they could potentially chew through the mesh fiber. Thankfully, the metal bars integrated into the design prevented the top and bottom from buckling when my dog tried to escape by going under the gate.Overall, it’s a solid and reliable pet gate, especially for dogs that aren’t overly aggressive or destructive.
