I am using mine for squirrel control. The squirrels in my area climb up into engines and other areas under my cars and chew on wires causing problems. I purchased a couple of these to try to keep those critters out and put the setting on #4 and sensitivity on high and so far its gone off every afternoon around the time snacking squirrels usually show up. I know when one is in there because my dog goes nuts when he's in there and sometimes I can see them when I open the hood. I'm pleased so far with my purchase.

It did nothing, except cost us money. Do not recommend.

We recently purchased this device to help fight a rash of skunks that have been trying to use the area under our screen room/shed as home. As suggested by reviews by other people fighting a similar issue, you can't rely on "one" method. That said, so far based on watching the video from our surveillance camera we set up to monitor the screen room/shed, we have seen the unit chase away not just the skunks, but rabbits and the occasional fox. The unit itself is easy to use. We were worried about if it would upset the neighbor's dog at night, but haven't heard any issues with the dog barking. The unit claims to charge via the installed PV cell on top. I'm sure it will. We suffer from the location we need to set up the unit that it gets sun only a few hours a day. We've taken the step to simply put it on charge, when necessary (we have power at the screen room so it impacts us very little). With the ground still frozen/snow covered, we have not been able to use the enclosed stake. The stake appears flimsy side (thin aluminum) but hopefully once the ground thaws, it will work just fine. I've been trying to find a more robust replacement, but no such luck yet. But I'm still trying. The good thing is our soil is mostly sand so the stake should work. Like I said, we have been able to see the reaction of the wildlife when the strobe goes off so we know it is working. Overall, we are happy with the unit. It works as advertised. Thinking about getting one or two more to make any skunk or other critter from getting too comfortable in our yard.

Not sure what to think of this. I do believe it helped somewhat. I got this for a raccoon that would camp out under my decks and around my pond. Once installed I felt the raccoon stopped going directly in the area where the device was placed. But I put it on the highest frequency to also stop chipmunks and squirrels which didn’t work. The raccoon now stays away from the pond but can still be found roaming my backyard. So it may keep them away from a very small diameter but you would need to purchase quite a few of these to keep them out of a pretty normal sized backyard.

Had a raccoon in the eaves. HAD. Since there's no sun in the eaves, i ran the charger and cord up to it with an extension cord. For those who want to use it outside in the rain, cut up some plastic bag and tape it around the back, as it has holes for mounting and a flap for the charger.

The media could not be loaded. Update 2/27/2019; I received both repellents yesterday, they were charged for 7 hours, and they failed once again! I am returning both deterrents. I guess this product is a fail because there is no way that others are having positive results and I had a whole bunch of negative results. Its a "NO BUY" item. I was impressed the first time it worked, but after this last video, well, I just want to give up and throw them in the trash, but I read you guys have a refund policy, so I would like a refund or a replacement, maybe these are defective, I dont know....help!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bought this ultrasonic animal repeller about a year ago but have had issues with it within a couple of months after I received it. I wanted to give the product the benefit of the doubt by trying a bit longer. I have a pack of stray cats that transit thru my property and hoped this would be helpful in stopping that traffic flow. Nope. Cats were not impressed and learn quick to ignore the sound or light. Seemed to me they were laughing as they walked by. Charging the unit became an almost daily chore. Instructions on settings were confusing. Wished I read more about the manufacturer before I hit the "Buy" button. Now I'm the market for a replacement. Stay away from this repeller.

I purchased this product to deter a herd of deer that was making nightly treks through my front yard, leaving loads and loads of their droppings behind (much to the dismay of my small dog, who uses the front yard to do HER business!). While I *do* have to periodically change the location of the device in my yard to keep the deer at bay -- if I leave it the same place too long, they smarten up and begin to ignore it! -- the device has completely met my expectations. Customer service provided by Duranom has also been exceptional! I lost my charging cord over a year after I purchased the product and they not only responded to my email the very same day, they went above and beyond to help me. I'd definitely recommend this product to others.
