Great item fast install holding floormats in place.

It probably would great if your mat is paper thin. Won't clip together once I put through the mat. My mats are no thicker than normal .

The quality of the plastic is pretty soft considering it's in a foot traffic area.

I installed these on a Honda Fit that has an unusually shaped floor mat on the passenger side with no hold-down clips. I selected two locations on the floor mat closest to the seat where the floor was flat. I used a 1" hole saw to cut two holes one in each corner of the mat. placed the smooth disc on top and the slotted disc on the bottom and smacked the top with a hammer to fix them together. Drilled a 1/8" hole in the floor carpet through the discs. Screwed the post clip into the floor carpet. Snapped the floor mat over the hold posts and waaa laaa!! Nice clean install and the floor mat stays put! Bravo!

Came on-time in a small zip-lock bag... with no installation instructions. No big, watch a you-tube for it! Which is where I made my mistake, I took the video dimensions for my product and drilled an oversized hole in the floor mat. Fixed by filling the gaps with kitchen caulk. The pins for the carpet needed a small hole dried first, then a #2phillips screwdriver to screw it into the carpet. Now the floor mat is secure and not moving around to interfere with the door. (Why don't all manufacturers install these on both sides?) Good secure fit, for a good price. Down checked for no instructions. Please measure the mat side fixture before drilling, so your installation goes flawlessly.
