Makes cleaning my espresso machine so much easier. The brushes are handy. I was using a repurposed toothbrush, but the shape of these makes cleaning out coffee grounds much easier. The backflush plate was what I really wanted so it was a happy coincidence that I came across this kit that included the brushes, too. Great help for maintaining my Gaggia Espresso machine.

If you don't have a cleaning kit this is a great option. I would say that it is overkill, since it comes with an extra for both brushes, but I am someone who likes to have back ups for when stuff wears out (which I am sure those brushes will)I can say a Gaggia owner who has had to tear my machine down and put it back together to fix the 3-way solenoid - you need this if you have a Gaggia. It will save you a weekend of work and a half week without coffee. Worth every penny

The brushes are pretty poor quality but they give you 4 of them so whatever. I clean my machine weekly and I'm still on my first brush. When it becomes too frayed to use I'll move on to the next brush.I use these brushes on my gaggia classic pro.

I recently bought a Gaggia Classic Evo Pro, which doesn't come with a backflush basket or any cleaning tools. This basket fits great into the portafilter and the brushes are angled nicely to hit the hard to reach group head

I'm a consumer (as much as I hate to admit it) and this is just an unnecessary item. Clean your espresso machine with a wet rag and it should take care of the head and all.
