I absolutely love this product! For $5.00 it gets the job done! People are saying it's flimsy, what would you expect? I've had this thing for two weeks and it's done me justice. If you take care of it, I'm sure you'll have it for a long time.Pros: Lightweight. Easy to travel with. Cheap so buy two if you can just in case. Holds heavy cameras like my Rebel t5i! Does really good out in strong windy situations. A flexible head so I can use for shooting video!Cons: Cheap feel. Weak legs at times. Sometimes wobbly if not all the way secure. Has a tendency to drop a little bit if you're not holding on to it under a heavy camera.Other than that. nothing! I love it and I'm not new to dslr but I'm not professional either but I use this to blog and to take portraits and it does the job. Love it, get this tripod if you're on a tight budget!

I've been using this tripod for about a year for self-tapes, and it is worth every penny. Super stable, easy to adjust height and find your level, the swivel and tilt are VERY smooth, and no wear I can see. The only disappointment was the travel bag which essentially ripped in half after a handful of uses. Not a big deal, the tripod is great. The supplier also sells addition quick release plates for pretty cheap if you want to quick swap cameras or gear.

This is one of those products where you get what you pay for. The tripod definitely works and can be effective when using a remote shutter button. I use it with my Canon T3I camera. It does tend to shake fairly easily and that shows up in videos. However, when not being touched with your hands, it is perfectly still. The material is a bit flemsy in my opinion, which is why it is sort of wobbly, but for a tripod that doesn't have this issue, the step up in price is considerable. For low range, hobbyists, this is a suitable product. It comes with a quick release plate which saves me alot of time.

This is the first tripod I have owned. In the past I have borrowed others. I do not use a tripod much so I decided that when I do it would be nice to have my own but did not want to spend a bunch of money. This is a really nice well constructed tripod. Strong and does not feel cheep.It is easy to set up and take down. It comes with a nice carrying case. The mechanisms that attaches to the camera and then to the tripod is well made and attaches and un-attaches very smoothly after you have used it a few times. I am very happy with it.

This is not a good quality tripod. One of the legs came out of its shoulder socket, during my initial inspection. It looks like the aluminum leg may have been adhered to the plastic socket with something like Super Glue. The elevator crank is weak and flexy, and difficult to turn. The entire head is flexy, and other adjustments don’t hold fast, or seem under-engineered. The bubble level is not level to the head. The threads holding the center post in place are poorly formed, and had not been tightened into the top frame properly. The nylon carry bag has a bad chemical smell.Phew, it’s a good thing I didn’t buy this tripod to use as a photographic tool! No, I am working on a couple of projects that each need a lightweight, collapsible leg, as from this tripod. The leg that came out of its socket was almost enough to have me pack it up for return and refund. But, I can get that re-attached with good quality marine adhesive.Unlike the top of the tripod, there are some good things to say about the legs. The cam locks secure the leg sections acceptably well; I tested them for slipping, by applying more downward force to them than they should get in my applications. The aluminum has a nice finish. The feet are ball mounted, so they will align themselves. I had been able to infer from photos that the leg-socket pivots have the pin-through-center structure that I needed.And, now, the tripod is no more. 3 legs here. Other parts piled over there.

I received this product today to use for work in order to create educational videos. I was very happy with the quality of the tripod and that it has the ability to fold up into the small little bag with the handle. This is wonderful for the traveling that will be involved with or video that I do not have to lug around a large or heavy tripod stand. I love the little details and the fact that the stand includes a level to insure that the image is even to the floor. This is a wonderful tripod for the price.
