Scepticism turned to gratitude!
I decided to try out adding protection to some remote control cars that I knew my kids would love and that would eventually meet their ruin. I got the three-year protection. After two years the cars were broken in several places and duct tape was an accessory on both. I pulled up the protection I'd purchased, unsure if it would actually work or if I'd decide I was scammed. I wrote a 1-sentence explanation of the toys' damages. They sent me pre-paid shipping labels. I boxes up the toys and sent them off. The day I mailed them I received e-gift cards for the purchase prices, and I just redeemed those gift cards on other Amazon purchases. I'm so glad I bought the protection! It turns out Asurion is an honest company who's easy to work with! I'm delighted, grateful, and feel comfortable buying protection on future purchases!

Easy... Amazon gift card for purchase amount emailed in a few days
I bought the plan for a mini drone for my son. The outer cage broke after 7 months of use preventing the propellers from turning. I filled out the quick online form (they are able to lookup the plan and item covered if you log into your Amazon account). Asurion sent a free mailing label to return the broken drone to them.I received an email a few days later from Asurion with an Amazon gift card code for the amount I paid for the drone (less taxes).I bought the same drone again for my son. The price went up a few dollars... just like everything these days. But now he is up and flying again and very happy.* Keep in mind Asurion does not reimburse you for taxes or shipping if you had to pay shipping when you originally bought the item.

Surprisingly Easy Process
I almost never buy warranties but we've had so much trouble with remote control cars in the past, this seemed like a great value so I figured I'd give it a shot for a few bucks. The process was super easy as long as you keep track of your documentation. Our car ended up not working during the 3rd year, practically at the very end of the warranty - all I had to do was file a claim, send it back - then immediately we received a full refund - no questions asked.

Purchase of the Asurion 3year protection plan was well worth it!
The remote control car for our 7yr old grandson was great value for the money. I am so glad I spent a few extra dollars for the 3yr protection plan insurance. An accident occurred with the axle & a wheel came off. It was almost a year after my purchase and I was thoroughly pleased with the Asurion customer phone service I received in resolving the issue! It helped that had saved all the necessary information & paperwork to expedite the process!

Easy to use and quick service
The extended guarantee was very inexpensive even though it lasted 36 months. Filing a claim was easy and quick. Once I filed the claim, Asurion immediately supplied a prepaid UPS mailing label to return a defective toy helicopter. Amazingly, I received an Amazon gift card from Asurion for the full price of the helicopter the SAME DAY I sent back the helicopter, and it was easy to enter it into my Amazon account. Way to go, Asurion!

Amazing customer service
I purchased the unicorn play tent for my girls on September 2020 and after some use it started to tear around the bottom. We had purchased their 3 year accidental protection plan for just 2.99 and I got in touch with them now and they were able to resolve me issue right away! They emailed me an Amazon gift card for the price of the tent so I can make another purchase. Definitely worth it. From now on whenever I have the option to purchase a protection plan I will. Amazing customer service and sellers highly recommend thank you again.

Poor customer service
I recently sent the Nintendo associated with this purchase back to Asurion for repair as I needed the broken kickstand replaced. After the product was returned to me today after a few weeks I realized that the kickstand WAS NOT replaced. Instead the right Joycon Flex was replaced which was not the reason I had shipped the Nintendo to you for repair.I called this morning to have the claim reopened and on both calls your customer service rep hung up the phone. I then called Amazon directly to resolve the issue with your Asurion lack of response to my calls. On both occasions that Amazon called you after my calls to assist me with resolution your customer service reps also hung up on Amazon.At this point I'm very disappointed with your customer service as I need the kickstand replaced as that was part of the insurance coverage that I had purchased from your company under Amazon.com order
