Love it!
Love it!The eraser, I believe, is called an endless eraser. I've been doing a lot of erasing for a music theory class. So far, after 3 months of lots of mistakes and eraser crumbs, I still have a lot of eraser left. This pencil is easy to use and feeds almost perfectly. The only negative is if you overfill with leads, it can jam and be difficult to shake the excess back out. Four or five at a time is about right.

Comfortable and Well-Made
I’ve been using it for a day, and I have no complaints about its quality or convenience. I was especially pleased with the eraser on the top of the pencil—I didn’t even notice it when purchasing. I highly recommend it.

love it but...
I really enjoy drawing with this pencil, however, the lettering started to fade out after holding it with a high grip.

Best pencil for the student
So a bit of background on my collection of pencils before I continue. I have both a Rotring 500 and 600, kiro toga in (metal and plastic), graphgear 500, 1000, graph 600 and 1000 pro, etc etc. this is 1 of 2 pencils Fiber-castell and so far, this one is far better.I'm going to start off with cons:* price, it's about $10 which is no small price tag* it's all plastic, makes the pencil feel a bit cheap* small lead sleeve, some people might find that a bit irritatingok, now onto why this pencil is amazing:* huge eraser, it twists out and has about a good 4-5 cm on it before it gets hard to take out* very solid build quality, sure this pencil isn't made out of metal but there is nothing loose to complain about on the frame* light and comfortable, we're not talking about uni gel level comfort but it has a soft rubber that passes as above average and a dam near thinness to rotring's design* retracting lead sleeve, this is probably me going crazy over the small things but it's just a nice touch especially when you're going to be abusing this thing from class to class.so yes, these are my notes on the pencil. highly recommended

Just what i needed
My other mech. pencil uses 2mm graphite lead, this one uses .5mm graphite lead and the difference is so obvious. When drawing the lines are so much finer and with a light touch are just visible enough to do your drawing and will not over shadow any painting with watercolors. It has that soft grip on it making it very comfortable to use. A definite good buy
