There is not much to be said, it is a power supply and so far it has worked perfectly. It appears to be exactly like the one I received with my laptop in every respect.

My original power cord is plugged in behind my desk and is a bear to get to if I need to take it with me. The smartest thing to so was to buy a spare. This is identical to the one that came with my computer. The best thing about this one is the price!

I'm very frustrated with these power chargers. This is the second time I've purchased a generic one from Amazon for my Dell computer, in 6 months and this one has already stopped working as well. With the first one, the rubber sleeve split and the wires started fraying and poking through right at the neck where the charger plugs into the laptop. This current one I have looks to be intact--no visible signs of damage, but the cord is not charging the laptop at all. There's clearly a short inside. It just... stopped. I noticed this a few days ago and have resorted to wiggling it around and pushing the charger in firmly with one hand until the battery on my laptop shows it's getting a charging signal. All this while trying to finish up my tasks on my computer with the other hand and pray the remaining charge doesn't run out before I'm finished. I'm a photographer so I'm on my computer daily. There's no reason this charger should have konked out after only 3 months from just....sitting there. Very poorly made.

Yup, this appears to be the same exact one that came with my Dell XPS. Thanks! I'll be more gentle with this one; the plastic bit of my last one cracked when I dropped it. Dell should make these to be more resilient if ya' ask me.

This works as expected, but if it is a knock-off, we'll know soon. Knock-offs are notorious for killing laptop batteries. This looks like a genuine charger, and it works properly.

Bought extra charger for Dell XPS laptop for travel and home use. Works fine.

I bought this to replace another Dell laptop charger. The weak point on all these seems to be the wire and power port end that plugs directly into the laptop. Over time, with flexing the connection breaks. In this case, the detachable electrical plug end of the cord was defective. Since I have 3 other dead Dell chargers I was able to swap out the electrical plug cord that plugs into the mid-line transformer.
