Safariland, 7378, Concealment Paddle Holster & Belt Loop Combo for Concealed Carry With ALS, Black - STX Plain, Glock 17, 22, 31

I'm using this holster for my hunting trips. I like it because it's more secure than a level 0 retention holster without worrying about it being ripped out when you're making your way between rocks. It's secure without being tight against the gun. In other words, it offers better retention without having to be cinched down super tight.This holster is everything you'd expect from Safariland with respect to build quality and durability. I don't have anything to say about that.The retention device is intuitive and easily deactivated by your thumb on the draw. Like many of you considering this particular holster, I too was alarmed by traditional trigger finger paddle retention devices after watching the well-circulated video of the gentleman who "Just shot himself" because his trigger finger followed the contour of the holster right into the trigger guard to fire the pistol into his leg. It's for this reason that the aforementioned holster style is forbidden at shooting ranges, at least it is at my local indoor range. That concern is largely mitigated with this style.I would recommend this holster for anyone in security (weapon retention) and anyone who exercises their second amendment rights by carrying openly.

Can't beat Safariland! Got in a pinch and it works great, just wish amazon had the holster available that had the capability to support a light and red-dot!

I bought this holster almost two years ago for a Glock 22 and have worn it concealed at work ever since. It retains the weapon securely, carries well on the hip, and has suffered no breakdowns or damages. The design and function allow for quick draws, which has proven very helpful on the practice range and during qualifications. Highly recommended.

I got this holster for my Glock. This holster is easily the very best holster I have, or have ever had. It's priced right, has a lot of mounting options, the quality is fantastic, and the level 2 retention is phenomenal. FAST draw even with defeating the security design. It has a nice audible click when you holster the gun. I cannot say enough good things about this holster.When you draw, and you push back the release lever with your thumb, it feels like the gun wants to come it swiftly. And when you re-holster, the gun feels like it just entered into the embrace of an old friend, and you could just get it started, and the gun's weight will click itself into place.If you are LEO, military, or open carrying civ, this is the best option. I am honestly doubtful that a better holster even exists.Seriously, just buy it now. You won't regret it.

As a member of law enforcement and SWAT for almost 21 years, I have seen few holsters that is as good as this one. It's very comfortable to wear and fits close enough to the body for concealment. The release mechanism is very smooth and easy to use which provides excellent weapon retention but can be drawn very easily and quickly. The construction and material is very durable.

This is an improvement over the older ALS holsters. I choose to use this for work as an LEO and for off duty gigs. I have been issued many other good holsters but I really liked this one for speed and security.The cant is a bit severe and the paddle pinches my hip a little.

This is my new favorite holster! Comfortable to wear, holds securely to your pants &/or belt, holster connects to the paddle with a very secure 3-bolt system, retention is better than I expected, and the polymer is very nice! Holster is completely rigid but soft enough to not cause any wear on the finish of your firearm. Keeps the gun close to the body and in a very favorable position for a quick draw stroke, and the cant is adjustable for personal preference. I plan to buy this same model for several other guns...

This is almost the same exact duty holster I use at work with just one less retention. It’s great because I am so used to this holster to begin with. It’s not really a good conceal although it does sit fairly close so could be depending on what you’re wearing. You cannot rip this gun out even trying to pull really hard. I also really like the fact that unlike other holsters your finger doesn’t go close to the trigger when drawing the weapon. If you want a holster that is safe easy and durable this is the one for a cheap price!
