A classic Marvel Character who gets a great throwback figure
I remember being a kid when the first toy line from Toybiz came out and we got the first line of X-Men figures. Up until then we only ever got the big guns, Captain America, Iron Man, Spider-Man and so on. And then we got the X-Men. Total nerd out for me. And Iceman has always been a tough character to make into a toy. Come on, he's a guy who turns to ice. How much can you do with that? But this is a great look and a great nostalgic look for the toy and I am thrilled to add it to my collection. Keep up the great work Marvel

Great figure but ...
It's a great figure. I thought I'd never like this one but once I got it, it's grown on me. However, Amazon again sent me some banged up packaging. Some have no seal and the clamshells are all bent. Not to mention the cards. I would have loved to keep one unopened and displayed but unfortunately, Amazon sent me unpresentable items for display. A bit disappointed.

Good but not spectacular
Good looking representation of a classic Iceman. Love the retro packaging. The packaging and figure bring back memories of my X-Men figure collection I had as a kid. The articulation is what is expected with Marvel Legends and the included ice base is a good inclusion. I would have enjoyed an inclusion of some sort of ice blast accessory. Probably not worth MSRP but if you can snag it for $10 or less it seems like a good value.

A cool re-sculpt and reissue of a classic toy from my youth
I had the original Toy Biz manufactured Iceman from the '90s and this NEW and updated version is such a cool concept. I love the retro packaging! The sculpt and articulation of the figure is great also. It is a well-sculpted toy that is not just for show, but one that can handle rough play.

Meh
I've just started on the X-Men part of my collection for my new home and it was coming along great, until this guy. It's not the best Iceman out there (Diamond Select has that, but it's the wrong size for my display), but it is the Jim Lee version, which I prefer. The first problem is the color of the base. It doesn't match his body and it's too short. It should be an ice slide that at least curves or extends several inches behind, not an ice mound. The second problem is that Iceman doesn't stay standing up. Just a moment ago, I heard him collapse again. It's extremely frustrating, as the one peg they put on the ice mound doesn't really fit the hole in his foot because the hole isn't deep enough. The ice mound also has a slight slope, so his foot doesn't sit flat on it, which is probably why it's hard to keep him attached to it.The third problem is that he doesn't have any extra pieces other than the ice mound. Retro Beast, for example, came with several cool accessories. This figure, not so much. His hands are locked into fists and he doesn't have a hip swivel. Why? Iceman shoots ice with his hands open, not with fists.I don't notice the line on his face like others are complaining about, because my room isn't bright enough for me to notice. Truthfully, this figure looks more like the Silver Surfer than Iceman. He is not sheer at all. It would be nice if we could get a 6-inch version of Jim Lee Iceman that is more like the Diamond Select one. That would be perfect. For now, this will have to do.

The Iceman cometh!
I'm a big Marvel collector and have been for years, and I remember vividly buying X-Men and X-Force toys back in the 90's that was on similar packaging. The nostalgia factor was a huge draw for me, and then I remembered how great was and still is on these. Plus you pair that with the quality that is Marvel Legends? Home run.
