It is a battery
It is a battery. It works to power our digital thermometer. I went to several stores in town but no one could help me with this battery. Found it on Amazon and the price was great. Just what I needed.

This battery was opened and just rolling around the box, and when I put it in the thermometer it said low battery!

Bought this to replace battery in digital thermometer. Straight out of the package I got a "low battery" reading. Not worth the time or trouble to send it back since it was an "add on" item.

ONLY 1 BATTERY!
Okay, so I made a mistake, but I feel misled. All the other LR41 battery listings on Amazon are 10 packs. And I mistakenly purchased this one in a flurry of looking through LR41 10 packs on Amazon. It is surprising that this one battery is only 4.7% less than the nearest priced 10 pack. After being very surpised to only received 1 battery in a letter sized envelope, I reviewed my Amazon order to find that I had received in fact what I ordered. No complaints about the company or the product. I assume the battery works, but the thing I needed it for takes 3 so I don't know for sure. Just be aware - this is for ONLY 1 BATTERY!

used in oral thermometer
I bought this for my oral thermometer. It worked perfectly. Don't spend time looking for this in various and sundry stores - its not worth the erffort.

Good customer service
Thank you Hershel for resending the batteries. Seller was prompt about returning my email and calling me when I could not locate the batteries I had ordered. He asked that I look around once more to see if anyone else had them. When I called him back saying that we could not find them, Hershel sent out a new set of batteries at no additional cost to me.
