Nice price for fairly thick, strong looking cord
I found similar sounding "paracord" [...] Sporting goods: [...] for 50', but it was much thinnner, more like heavy duty shoe laces and probably appropriate for tying down a rain fly or tent, etc. This stuff was much thicker (and I assume stronger). I'll be using it to support a very large (20x30) tarp.

Decent rope
This is the rope that I use to tie a large tarp to the top of my trailer to stop the leaks. I have had the rope tying the tarp to my trailer for several months now, and it has held well, though it has stretched a bit over time. My rope came an a handy spool like device in an atrocious green and yellow color. If I was able to pick the color of the rope that I got, then I would have rated it a star higher. It is strong rope, though the ends do tend to fray over time if they are not tied in knots or burned into submission. it is strong rope, but I am sure that there is better for the cost; I am just not sure what rope is better.Great for camping, and there is minimal chafing when tied around the wrists or ankles!

Nice Rope With Thoughtful Spindle
I got this rope for hanging my kayak from my garage rafters. Works very nicely for that as it's small enough to fit into pulleys yet is fat enough to be easily gripped. Plus its spindle has a hook for hanging from a nail as well as a notch for keeping the loose end tucked away.

BEWARE - STRETCHY - REALLY STRETCHY
I know, I know - I read the review about how stretchy this rope is, but it looked good, had good reviews, and the price was right.I installed this as the main halyard on a Hobie 18. Before instillation, I tested a few feet of it and didn't notice any unusual stretch, but when I was pulling on a length of 50 feet, I felt as though I had used bungee cord. It was worthless for my application. As you can imagine, this rope doesn't hold a knot well either. It was cheap, and I'm sure that I can find other applications for the 200 feet that I purchased.

Solid, cheap rope with handy carrier
We bought this prior to a week long camping trip and used it to suspend a 20x16 tarp over our tent. The rope did it's job without complaint and the carrier made it easy to pack without tangles.

Light weight indoors
Ehhh. Stretchy. Not great for kayak and pulley lift. Currently out of the sun one year of eastern exposure and looks worn out.

Color is important!
I have ordered the 100 ft rope and the 200 ft rope from this manufacturer. I happened to like the blue color in the photos. The 100 ft rope came in yellow and 200 ft rope came in black. There was NO choice of color while ordering! I was rather upset because I think that the color is important.Upon my complaint, the manufacturer resent the 100 ft rope in the correct color, which soothed me. I decided to keep the 200 ft rope in black for variety reasons. So, overall, the experience was satisfactory although I truly think that they need to put the choice of colors as an option before placing the order.I hope this helps!
