I use this light as a hallway light. It looks great and because it's open, it brightens any area very well. I use daylight lights.

This is a wonderful looking light and the quality seems really nice! It hasn't been installed yet, but if there are any problems I will come back and report.I was very impressed when this light arrived yesterday. Even the packaging is great! The styrafoam is molded to fit the glass shade exactly and there's a piece that is molded to fit inside the glass shade. At first I thought the shade had cracks in it, but it's actually made to look like old glass with swirls in it.I was in a store the other day where most of the lights displayed were $1,000 and up. Way up. This light could be among those lights with a $1,000 price tag and it wouldn't have looked out of place. Not that I would have paid that much for it, but I wouldn't have bought any of those overpriced lights. There were lights there that looked like they were worth thousands of dollars, but those were spectacular and weren't among the ones like this one that most sane people would put in their bathrooms, hallways, or laundry rooms.So, if you want a ceiling light that's in style in every way, but not expensive in any way, this fits the ticket. My ticket anyway.

Beautiful and with the right light bulbs, very bright. My husband didn't like these when he first saw them. And, he thought they were a pain to install. But once he figured out how to get one installed, the second went up wit ease. After installing, he knew why I bought them...they are beautiful! Works well in our hallway!

This attractive light arrived well-packaged, with all parts/pieces as needed. It was installed in a hallway, and I am pleased with how it looks. The installation was a bit tricky, however. The instructions were pretty generic, not really specific to this light. The "diagrams" were drawn and the parts were not well-labeled. The plate that covers the electric box in the ceiling just barely covers the box - so if this is a replacement for an existing light, it may not cover the same area.

I bought three of these and they look gorgeous in our hallway and give off a lot of light. Great price. Easy to install.

I love this lamp I can't believe for the money how nice that it looks in my hallway. I have had so many complements on it. The hardware was all there very east instructions and very good quality. I put led lights in it for my solar home really lets out a lot of light.

Seriously well packed by manufacturer and amazon packed nice as well. Glass has bit of a soft swirl pattern you just cant see in online images..so very pretty.. generic wiring diagram/ instructions a bit vague for assembly required and managed without great effort..slightly larger than i though it would be but looks great in bath and plenty of light.. very happy..thank you

We are fixing up a 1963 home, that never moved out of that era. Bought two of these for a very long, dark hallway.Replacing two, one bulb fixtures. Price was right on, for our budget. Not a real easy install, but not the worst either. Used 60 W LED bulbs, could have used 40 W, and will change out at some point. Now a once dark hallway, is almost so bright one needs sun glasses. Would buy again, and recommend to others.
