Alvin's Cables Blackmagic RG179 Coax BNC Male to Male HD SDI Cable for BMCC Video Camera Flexible Right Angle to Right 60CM

Alvins cables are pretty much a standard in the AC industry, everyone has them, so when I picked some up, I knew it had to be Alvin's. That chipmunk makes some good Co-Ax cables. Love the right angle for my builds, as it makes everything a bit tighter and neater.Would and will buy again.

5 shoots down with using this SDI cable between my FX6 and Ninja V, so far so good. It's very flexible (very nice quality siliconised wire) and can easily be cable managed with a bongo tie for instance. Given it's so thin I imagine that in time they might not last as long as a thicker SDI cable but that's to be expected really.My initial concerns were that because of how thin the cable is that it might be prone to interference but this hasn't proved to be the case. So far my shoots with this cable have taken me to heavy WiFi areas, underneath a 5G mast and by an airport and none of these scenarios have caused any issues, even with sending 4k raw via SDI.I'll end up buying a few more and phasing out my chunkier cables in favour of these.My suggestion to the manufacturer would be to add some additional colours for the cables. I know my usual 1st AC loves colour coordinating their rigs so this would presumably make them very happy.

I got this to connect the Blackmagic Pyxis to Feelworld 7Luts 4k monitor. Picture quality is good, it’s easy to install and adjusts nicely to ensure you cabling is at neat as you want. The cable is pretty thin and feels perhaps a little delicate as a result. But for the price it’s great value for money. Just remember when connecting to power on the camera and the monitor first and THEN connect the cable. Then disconnect the cable BEFORE powering down the monitor and camera. Last in, first out.

Used to connect, Zacuto Gratical HD EVF from SDI on Canon Cinema Camera C300. Low profile, thin, flexible SDI cable at a good price. Would buy again.

The functionality of the right angle connections and the thin cable itself are great.Had a lose connection occur on one cable and they overnighted me a replacement, great service!

Worked fine at the start but not the strongest cable out there - now giving intermittent signal depending on the position it’s in.
