Great Quality
Easy to set up, easy to carry around because it's so light. Would suggest to anyone with a beach vacation. Peace of mind knowing my cards and money were secure. Would recommend and buy again for gifts.

Deterrent
Have used for travel/cruise/beach trips. Works well inside a backpack as a second "layer" of protection. Cable is long enough to wrap through backpack and around a solid mount point. The "lock" is not super-easy to use, it is a latch that takes abit of fiddling with the cable and alignment to get it clicked in. Gets easier as you go. Any bag/cable is still vulnerable I think, but this makes a nice visual deterrent. Seems to keep sand out well at the beach.

****FAILED ON DAY TWO****
** 0/10 ** Do not recommend ***Please read this cautionary tale before purchasing this bag.Bought this for a beach vacation so husband and I could go into the water together and not worry about our money and cel phones being safe. It arrived in a timely manner before vacation and I followed all directions at home to set the combination lock code. I tested it before the trip and it worked as described. Although I did notice the dials for the 3 number combination seemed a little loose. I wasn’t sure as I was testing it if the numbers were exactly in the right position. However, since it worked I packed it up and off we went. Day one at the beach , I filled it up , and attached it to our rented beach chairs with the wire tether and all was well. Upon returning , I was able to set the code and unlock the zipper with no problem. Day two at the beach , set it again , came back , went to unlock it just a couple hours later to check my phone and it doesn’t unlock. Spun the dials , tried again - nope. Tried again and again and again. I even tried 3 digit combinations that were close to my original code thinking maybe I’d accidentally reset the code even though the directions clearly state once it’s set there is no changing it. I also tried 000 which is how it arrives new. Nope. At this point I’m beginning to picture having to ask the lifeguards or the hotel staff for a box cutter and wire cutters to free my phone and unhook this thing from their beach chair. I worked at it for 20 minutes on my own. My fingers were sore trying to slide the metal latch open by sheer force. Husband comes back from the water and suggests we just start at 001 and start doing all 999 combinations which we did for awhile until he finally just took it out of frustration and manhandled the crap out of it until the metal inside bent and broke it open setting my phone free at last and saving us an embarrassing trip to find some hotel staff to assist us. Needless to say , I was very disappointed that we had several more days left on the beach with no way to lock up our stuff. It should be noted that this pouch never sat in the sand. I thought while it was hopelessly jammed maybe some grains of sand had somehow made their way into the mechanism and jammed it ? But once it was forced open I inspected it and found nothing visible to account for the failure. I kept it inside a vinyl bag on the beach and it never got wet or sandy. And since it’s advertised as something you could take to the beach I would hope that beach conditions would not affect the mechanism. I can only guess that the tiny gears inside which seemed a little loose to me from the getgo, must have bent or loosened up even more to render the combo lock hopelessly stuck. If I could give this one star I would.********** SAVE YOUR MONEY ************* DO NOT RECOMMEND *******Will be pursuing a refund when we return.

Great theft deterrent
I bought this for travel. I have a friend who said that on a trip, the room safe did not work, and she thinks someone heard her complain to the desk because while she was out, someone broke into her room and stole her money that she had in a bag in a bag in her suitcase. She didn’t lock her suitcase which I always do, but it still made me leery about the safety of my valuables when traveling. I read other reviews where the lock would not open, so I tested it multiple times at home before putting anything inside, and it worked every time. The product was larger then I was expecting - I didn’t read the measurements and thought it would be half this size, however the larger size turned out to be better as it holds my iPad mini perfectly. On my vacation I locked my iPad, money, and passport in this than locked it in my suitcase (belt and suspenders). I felt that my valuables were safe, and I’ve had no issues locking and unlocking this bag.

BWAHAHAHAHA 😂
Anyone else find it hilarious that the instructions to open it are locked inside it?Otherwise it's a good product, I mean it's not Ft. Knox and given enough time the combo would be easy to crack, but it's enough to buy you some time.1. With scissors remove the plastic ties around the number wheels2. Make sure the numbers are showing the default 0-0-03. Slide the button AWAY from the number wheels at latch to open the lock.4. With the lock open slide the button TOWARD the number wheels and latch and hold it there.5. While holding the button firmly TOWARD the number wheels, set the number wheels to your desired combination.6. Release the button, close the lock by pushing the latch back into the slot and open it to test the combination.7. Write down your new combination and keep it in a safe place.WARNING there is no universal reset combination or button. If you forget your combination, your will not be able to open it. Vaultz is not responsible for forgotten combinations.8. If the lock will not open with the new combination, return the number wheels to 0-0-0 and repeat steps 1-7

Excellent addition to my vacation items
I like oceanfront resorts. I like laying around by the ocean, as well as by pools. That said, I still like to read my kindle, or get on my phone from time to time. Items that I am then concerned about leaving at my chair when I get in said ocean or pool. This item gives me the peace of my to have no concerns with that, and is small enough that it doesn’t seem awkward or out of place.

Simple and effective secure travel bag
This Is great for traveling to a B&B or small hotel with no safe. I took it away with me recently when traveling internationally and kept all my travel docs and cash inside. No doubt it’s not as strong as a metal safe but will definitely keep your important things private and you can lock it up with the cable to a dresser or armoire. Worth the money for sure.
