Yes, practically everything you need to know is somewhere on the internet. But when you're crawling on the floor, covered in grease, you will appreciate having a hard-copy reference. If you look at this book even a couple times, then it was worth the money.

M husband had been asked to repair an old tractor and he went on line to Amazon and found this book. It was exactly what he needed to fix the problem, Thanks.

That being said these are not perfect or as good as the manuals from the manufacturer. But, at I got this one for about $20 bucks and the manufacturer's is ~$1k or more. I think I will continue to muddle through with this version and the help of my local dealership.

I have one of these for every tractor I have ever owned. Great source of info, especially when you're in a pinch.

This is a very basic information manual. It is sufficient to get by for daily chores on the tractor but nothing too in depth. You won't be able to strip and rebuild the diesel distribution pump for example. The let down for me (and hence the 3 stars) is that they couldn't be bothered to include a wiring diagram for the diesel tractor and there are sufficient differences to warrant one.
