Gorgeous
Been looking at Kalifono for years and never bought one. Went to order this year and they discontinued them. So glad I found this. A true work of art and functional too. Stunning!

Nice finish, bad balance!
Very nice finish, however it was a very difficult delivery having been lost twice prior before a third shipment finally making it.. However, the globe is not balanced and strongly rotates to a horizon position. As such, it doesn't sit or stay in position while using it.

This is a beautiful globe. It’s for decoration, not study. The gems are gorgeous and the mother of Pearl oceans are stunning.

scratches
The bottom of the brass holder is all scratched and looks like someone used a scouring pad on it. Everything else was nice.
