I have been dealing with chronic fatigue for the past several years. I recently decided to give this a try and am very impressed with the amount of energy it gave me on my first day. I actually got some things accomplished which is a really big thing for me as most days all I can do is sit on the couch and watch TV, as my body has been completely devoid of energy and stamina. I ate several berry clusters, (maybe 10-15 berries) imagining the approximate size of a few capsules. I really don't know how much you are supposed to take given it's the actual dried fruit. So I am completely guesstimating. Taste wise it is tart but also kind of sweet. But I'd rather have my herbs fresh and pure so that's ok with me. It is a really high quality product that is in the bag. I am impressed with it's freshness! Who knows how old the product is ground up in capsules from other companies.

Since receiving these berries, I make tea every morning. It's a great product and so healthful! I'm 50 years old and it definitely gives me more energy all day long, but I know it's good for me in so many other ways... I've just recently learned about it, and I'm so glad I have. I simmer the shisandra berries for 15 minutes then drain and refrigerate for the next day... then just warm in the microwave. It's a great way to start the day!

The product is as described! Package is good berries look good. It came on time. Hopefully no stress, on the team of people who fulfills these orders! At first I wasn't sure I could drink it. I was quite sour for me but I really wanted to do 100 day challenge. So as suggested I put a little splash of juice I chose organic strawberry guava juice. It tasted great! I'm on 3 weeks into the 100 days and I;m sure I will finish the challenge! I'm feeling good, looking forward to see how much better I look and feel on my 60th.

I have bought dried Schisandra berries from other companies before, and they are full of color and fragrance and about the size of a small blueberry. These were almost black, rock hard with zero fragrance and were tiny. Very disappointing as the bag cost $59! And seller didn’t offer returns or refunds.

This is a great product to use. If you have issues with your liver or just want to keep it healthy, this is an outstanding product to use as it removes toxins from the liver and doesn't allow it to recirculate it into the blood, like milk thistle can.Watch out for stems, though. I have found several in the package.

We read that these berries give you energy and they certainly do. It's good energy, not like caffeine or sugar energy. We just feel like we have more energy when we take them. We also began to feel, after a few days, that we had a bit more mental clarity and they may contribute to a generally good/better mood. I think the added energy just makes us feel good. We've also read that they help cleanse the liver, they are antioxidants, and other good things. But those things are hard to feel daily. The energy is real. We read, and we agree, that we should take them in the morning only, as the energy level lasts a while. We take 8-10 berries each morning. That's plenty to feel a difference. The taste is not good---very tart and sour---but we chew them up and follow them with a few nuts and the taste is gone right away. Many friends have tried them and feel the way we feel. Some say they are drinking less coffee now. All like the added energy. This bag is huge and will last a long time...so it's good for the price. We keep it in the frig so we feel they will last even longer.

Over the years, I have purchased this brand several times and was happy with the quality, but this last pound is sub-par. At first, I thought it was my preparation of tea, I tried all different brewing times and amount of berries, always a yellow to off tan color with an unpleasent but not terrible flavor. so, I really stopped using these berries altogether for some time. Now reevaluating my supplement needs, I decided to give Schisandra one more shot, open the bag, look for the best berries, brew the tea and the same yellow/tan results. So, one last effort, I picked up some Omija berries, which is Schisandra at the local Korean store, prepared the tea as I always had and low and behold that nice rosy pink color, smooth five flavor just all around the way it should be. My suggestion, try some small batches first, the health benefits are great. Chances are if you first tried this batch, it would most likely been your last.
