OTIS VARIETY PACK A/P BRUSH 9PK

From my experience in the corps, there are good AP brushes and generic good for nothing AP brushes that smear carbon around and lack rigidity. I was happy to find these are of utmost quality. We we issued, at one point later in my enlistment, small Otis cleaning kits in circular soft cases that came with rod sections that you attached a small brush head to and I HATED those brushes with a passion. The bristles were almost made out of rubbery bristles and needless to say, I found the whole kit to be junk. I added these to 3 Hoppes complete bore snake kits: pistols, rifles, and shotgun. Works great for my needs and these completed those kits.

These brushes make cleaning a weapon easy.For decades I relied on toothbrushes, 1 of the military ar-15 brushes like the white one in this package, and automotive brass brushes that were too large.Now I have a set of brushes that simply work great, they fit into tiny spots on just about any weapon and has stainless steel assortment to help clean heavy deposits. I took apart my ar-15 bolt carrier and had gotten all of the deposits off within 15 minutes using hoppes 9 and the brass/steel brushes in this kit. The carrier had 1500 rounds of quick rapid fire shooting--from tactical training, with all kinds of ammo. Reloads, tula, and lake city.A must have for any shooter, these things will last forever.Country of origin not on the package, but I ASSUME it is US made as it had the same serial number and look to my nylon brush that was in my military weapon maintenance kit from the Army. Otis makes good products.

A 'must have' for anyone who does regular and thorough firearm cleaning. As a 500+ round/week shooter I spend a lot of time cleaning, and these brushes get the job done. The varying abrasiveness levels allow you to apply just enough force to get the job done. The Price:performance ratio is excellent.

What would you expect? They are brass brushes on a plastic stick. Inexpensive and stable to use. They fit the price point.

Oh yes, these are nice. I wish I'd purchased them years ago!I am a hobbyist/tool freak, I could find a thousand uses for these brushes. Just yesterday I used one of the steel ones to reach inside a stainless steel tea kettle to clean out lime scale.The quality is first-class, the design is excellent, they are just what every shop needs. Nylon, brass, and steel, they cover all the bases for small jobs. The handles are very sturdy too, I haven't broken one yet with some hard use. They are so very useful, though, I am certain that I will wear them all out and need another set in a year or two.Highly recommended.

These brushes do an excellent job when cleaning small metal items for which you need a tooth brush sized brush. They have a wider end which looks like a normal tooth brush, and a narrower end which is good for getting into and cleaning between tight places. When using them for they're intended use they are excellent, and the quality is as good as you will find. If you over use the metal brushes, you will can ruin them rather quickly, but for small parts cleaning tasks, they are excellent. This set was packaged to save money on buying them one at a time or in set's of three.
