Also make sure that you once you go to tighten that you hold the cable near the post and make sure that turning it tightens the cable strands and does not unwind it. You have. 50-50 chance of being correct. If you do it correctly you only need to hold the cable and tighten at that post and not the far post.

My longest run was 45’. My posts were set at 4+’ and the cable tightened well. Make sure that you pull all slack out of the cable when determining the location of your last fitting. A longer run will require a little more effort to get the correct cut but it can be done. I am happy with they system.
