Top stars for: Price range, sound, comfort.
This is my second pair of this headset, the first lasting me many many years but I damaged them myself so had to replace them. I probably got over 10,000 hours out of them and it would have been more had I looked after them.Totally happy with the sound quality but I mainly get them for the comfort, they are both tight fitting over the ears but with sufficient give and nice foam covers, I often have them on for over 10 hours a day and never get any pains. The microphone is..... ok.... it's not fantastic, it'll totally allow you to chat with your friends online but if you're looking to make professional videos you'll probably need a better microphone.Anyway, I'm considering buying a couple more pairs for the future!Enjoy.

Good quality, barely any problems
There are some pros and cons about this headset, and ones that have existed since purchase so can’t be put down to wear and tear:Cons:- You will hear static from the speakers whenever even a minor sound plays. The static is generally as loud as whatever the volume level on the PC is.Pros:- Otherwise good quality and relatively loud without loss of quality- Looks nice & iCUE integration is always a great bonus if you have many Corsair products

A very middle of the road headset.
My last headset was a Logitech G633 with dolby surround, so that is what I will be comparing these to.Since logitech have dropped dolby and moved to DTS, their sound quality has suffered greatly and that made me want to switch to a new headset. The void elite is.. ok.Firstly, the Elite doesn't come with dolby support, I believe if you want dolby you must get the void or void pro and use an old version of their ICUE software. Corsair use their own 7.1 software with the Elite and the surround sound is claustrophobic. things close to you sound too close and muffled. Things a short distance from you sound too far away. It's a stereo set of headphones with software 7.1. Other headsets come with extra speakers in the earpiece for a better experience, these don't seem to which I imagine contributes to that feeling of claustrophobia since the soundscape is very narrow. The equalizer that comes with the software doesn't do much to help. That being said, I'm sure I'll get used to it in time. With a little play testing in various games, I've discovered that it can sometimes be tricky to pinpoint if an enemy is above or below you. Or even if they are in front of you or behind you, as compared to the 633s where you know where everything was almost exactly. The headset quality is pretty good, they are comfortable to wear and feel pretty light. Not a huge fan of how the volume works but it's fine, it's a switch you hold up or down instead of a roller. The mic seems alright, I've not had much cause to try it out yet. The headset itself is compact and feels fine to wear. For music and movies it's perfectly adequate.Overall 3.5/5

Great mid price range headset
I've had these for 24 hours after returning the hyper x cloud stinger s 7.1 headset I had bought. Initially I was worried the 7.1 surround sound would have the same issues as the hyper x and that they wouldn't be comfortable as many have said but after having them recommend by friends who have the pro version undecided to take the plunge and boy am I grateful that I did . They are nice and comfortable not to loose ( I do have a big head ) the sound is amazing the voices from my friends while talking on discord is nice and clear with the mic picking up my voice nice and clear too . The noise cancelling is top notch as I vape and non of my friends could hear when I did vape it also cut out my music from my phone which I purposely turned the volume up to max and held the phone to the mic with no noise coming through only while I spoke . Volume control is super easy switching from different sound settings is as easy as pressing the volume control on the left ear cup and switching from 7.1 to stereo is just press and hold the switch . You get a decent length of cable with a usb connection . Would I recommend these to people hell yeah I would and I'd buy them again if this set ever broke

A good all round headset
I bought these specifically for gaming/talking with friends and while the sound quality is fantastic, I do feel they lack in the bass department somewhat...other than that they're excellent and the overall quality is not to be sniffed at

Not quite the "Wow" I was looking for.
I'm going to say that I was actually quite underwhelmed with how these turned out for me. While they are comfortable, and you can wear them for hours without much repercussion, the tinkering I had to do to get the settings somewhat right, and the EMULATED 7.1 Surround Sound for me isn't worth the price tag, given Turtle Beach costs maybe £10 more, and does it much better. If you're only using these to play video games with your friends over something like Steam, Discord, or generally people who have a similar level of video game enthusiasm as you, these won't be a problem at all, as the microphone is reportedly (by my friends) very crisp, and good quality. IF, however, you plan to use this as a means to talk to someone on a laptop or other non-earphone setup, I would highly recommend you get another pair. For some reason, the microphone on this SUCKS for Skype, and depending on what the other person is doing, they will either hear you very quietly or simply not at all. No amount of tinkering or troubleshooting will fix this problem, just save the effort and money and buy something else. If you want to hear your game, they won't hear you, and if you want to hear them, you can't hear your game - there is no fine line with this, trust me, I've tried. For the price tag, you're not getting the bang for your buck. I am disappointed, but I threw away the box, so I'm stuck with my decision. Corsair as a brand though are amazing, just don't buy this headset.
