The bike tire kit was delivered in a timely manner and was easy to use.

It's a pretty basic unit and if you line up the pin in the chain with the unit, it will push it out. There is a small arrow on the repair link and this should be installed in the direction of the arrow. Once you get the pins through the tin portion, simply pull on the chain to engage. The repair links seem a little cheap and I worry how they will hold up but, they may be fine and I should have given this 5 stars. There are no instructions with the pliers and I am not sure what they are for. Didn't need them to repair the chain.

I ended up returning mine, because I found the same exact product with all of its accessories in a bigger set. So it didn't make any sense to buy just this one item, one for a few dollars more, I could get this item and a few other things.For what the prices, the quality is there to match.I probably wouldn't buy this thing if I owned a mobile bike repair shop or anything. It's just a tool that's there in case of an emergency, or for a once a year type repair.

Bought this to elongate my chain for the electrification of an old mountain bike. Works well and is nice and sturdy.

The chain tool is a little flimsy.

For a long time I have gone by with just a chain breaker in my home "bike shop". I tear down and rebuild my bikes each spring to start a new season. Now that chain links are the norm, I needed this little tool to deal with the new chains. I have already used the 8 and 9 speed links that came with this kit for our cruising bikes, but I actually needed a 11spd link which is not included. If you maintain your bikes yourself, you need it.Quality wise, it probably would not stand a pro bike shop environment, but for the DIY guy, it's plenty sturdy for occasional use.
