A miracle spark plug? -- it just may be!
It was nearing the time to replace plugs on my 2004 HCH, and after hearing some radio advertisments for this plug from one of the local DJ's, I decided to look into getting it instead of the Honda recommended replacements. After all, the Honda is now old, and manufacturers often (or rather, never) update their recommendations after a vehicle model is out of production. I've been burned on 'snake oil' plugs before (yes, I bought Splitfires way back when, and see my other reviews about the Bosch +4 plugs), so I guess I'm a glutton for punishment.Anyway, after I bought them, I was worried the "twin tip" they speak of was similar to the old Splitfire plugs. It is not, the "twin tip" nomenclature means on "tip" on the plug electrode, and another on the plug grounding strap, in other words, two little "points." It's similar in appearance to those spark plug gap testers of yore you stick between the plug and wire and adjust the screw to watch the spark jump the gap.Install went well, what the heck, they're spark plugs. I did add some anti-seize to the threads, even though most tell you not to do it, but threading into an aluminum head I feel better about. I know it's supposed to change heat range characteristics, etc., but I think it's negligible in the real world. The first thing I noticed after starting the car was the idle was noticeably (but not much, mind you) smoother. I could tell from before and after. Power seemed better, but after all, it's a new set of plugs. What really made me a believer, though, is that I had a check engine light on that was an NOx code, that I just couldn't get rid of...changed O2 sensors, cleaned EGR (the only thing I didn't do was replace the cat because of $$$), but after about 3 days with these plugs installed, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WENT OUT! So obviously, the ignition is better. Now, I realise this is not at all scientific, since any set of plugs might have fixed this problem, but I at least got to give credit and a shout out for these plugs for that alone. So, I'm happy. It seems like a quality spark plug. My fuel mileage did increase about .5%, which on my HCH equated to about 2-3 mpg. I'm hesitant to credit these particular plugs for that, though, as possible ANY set of new plugs would have improved economy, at least at first. Give them a try, and see what you think. They're cheaper than most OEM Iridium plugs, and even if it doesn't make your check engine light go out like it did mine, at least you've got a new set of plugs in your car, and that's one more variable you can eliminate from the list of possibilities.

Great plug
I did some research on the best plugs and I'm glad I did. These have my 2nd gen prius the ability to get 52mpg. Woe. Last up to 100k

Since it's a major chore to change spark plugs on newer engines I recommend these high-mileage spark plugs. Don't buy coil pack boots first from Amazon because you may need to replace coil packs. On the car we worked on both coil packs had to be replaced and we had to exchange boots that I had purchased and get front and rear coil packs. This was much better done at the local auto parts store. I don't plan on needing to do this job again since the car now has fairly high mileage so I don't need a whole lot of spare parts. I do have all the timing parts including timing belt and timing pulleys that are cheaper to replace on the timing assembly than buying an entire set again.

Not the Denso sparkplugs recommended for a Prius
Genuine Denso spark plugs are stamped with "Denso Japan" on the rounded portion of the plug just below the hex side. These are stamped with "Assembled in the US with foreign content". They are more reasonably priced and will work but they are not the Denso sparkplugs recommended for Prius.

Great Product / Fast Delivery - - -
My 2012 Scion XB had a engine code for misfire cylinder 1, replaced the individual coils and the spark plug. The Denso Iridium IK16TT have improved my mileage by 15%, the car runs smoother and starts easier. Best money I've spent in a long time. Plugs arrive in two days even though delivery was quoted in 7 days. Great Product / Very Happy ! ! !

Bring on the vroom!
Cool technology. Replaced the very burned up NGK's in my Subie. Car was much more peppy. Not sure about millage yet, perhaps I'm enjoying throttle response too much. Plug gap may have been a little short, but not sure how to adjust without upsetting alignment of fine tips. No instructions in package for this. Overall happy with purchase. Price not much more for a 4 cylinder, so hard not to justify.

These are not the recommended 2 electrode Denso plugs much debate about using a single tip SP that it will degrade mileage & performance, but so far no issues & while its more $$$ they are rated for 100k miles. My 2006 Toyota Avalon has the Denso Iridium as OEM SP the car has 105000 miles and still working well a slight drop in MPG around town 19-20 vs 17-18 but can't compliant since its 10 yrs old and 105 k miles.
