Pellet pistol
I have not used it yet. I just got it recently. I look at the reviews and this one’s better for me. I used to have one when I was a kid now I got one.

Best Legal Self Defense On The Market
Perfect legal self defense weapon on the market or should you not care to have a real gun in your home. It's blow holes through closet doors and just about blind anyone attacking. It's also fun for kids to plink cans with as you teach them how to shoot. Got my first one stolen out of my car so I purchased a replacement. Quality item, solidly made, powerful, affordable self defense or fun.

Feels nice in the hands
Out of the box it seemed to struggle with the C02, I almost returned it thinking I got a bad gun out of the factory. The first C02 cartridge did nothing and literally plopped pellets at 15 feet with no blow back. The 2nd cartridge finally engaged the blow back action but only could fire the first shot with the 2nd and each consecutive shot lobbing out of the end of the barrel. Follow up shots after 1 minute or so showed power but that was too much loss of velocity for a followup shot. The 3rd and what was going to be my final C02 cartridge seemed to do the trick and the pistol has shot fine ever since. The feel is very nice, nearly identical to the 9mm version. Overall quality is very good so far, but I am only giving 4 stars due to the initial issues and the location of the safety... very odd right hand spring action thing not like the handgun version what so ever and very cumbersome to disengage.

BEWARE - 90-day warranty!!! Worst purchase ever!
I purchased this pistol in early 2015 due to previously excellent reviews, took it out of the package during a Midwest winter, fired a few rounds, and was impressed with the accuracy and feel of it. Since I hadn't planned to use it again until spring, I put it away, then got it out in early June to enjoy some target practice with my lovely wife. After firing what must have been about 40-50 rounds through it, the gun suddenly jammed, the trigger locked down, and the clip was not able to be removed. After a bit of examination, I figured out that there was a pellet that had just barely come out of the clip chamber and into the barrel(maybe a couple of millimeters). Luckily, I had also purchased a cleaning kit, so I gently used a ramrod to push the pellet back into the clip chamber. I removed the clip and examined the pellet. The business end had an indentation - using my mechanical aptitude, I decided that the clip chamber was not lining up with the barrel, causing the pellet to strike the barrel edge rather than being propelled through the rifled barrel. So, I got rid of the damaged pellet, replaced it, put in a new CO2 cartridge and fired another shot - same problem. I used the same recovery method, but the gun never fired again. The clip chambers no longer lined up properly with the barrel. So, I sent this off to Umarex for warranty service. I admit that I did NOT know the warranty period was 90 days. So, about 6 months after purchase and less than 100 pellets fired through it in just TWO uses, they received the unit, and called to inform me that the gun was outside of the warranty period, and it would cost as much to fix the gun as I had paid for it, even though I had only fired it on two separate occasions and the gun cosmetically was obviously brand new. I told him I would never have bought it had I known that the warranty was 90 days, he said NOTHING. The repair tech was 100% non-apologetic, and asked what I wanted to do. I asked him if I had to pay for return shipping, he said "let me check", then begrudgingly said "I'll ship it back". NEVER said, I'm sorry about this, or had any sympathy in his tone or words. I understand what warranties are designed for, believe me, and I know the mistake was mine, but I would NEVER buy Umarex again. So, within a week or so, I will receive my Umarex PX-4 Paperweight in the mail, and am out about eighty bucks. HORRIBLE experience - 90-DAY WARRANTY - BEWARE! Also, not impressed with the service team AT ALL. Will buy Crosman from now on...

Spare magazines are not available
Nice gun overall. I can’t find any spare magazines for this particular gun. When the magazine that comes with it wears out the gun will be useless

TAKES A WHILE TO WEAR IN !!!
got my gun this afternoon ,oiled up a co2 cartridge and started shooting. i shoot at about 55ft ,which is ridiculous for a co2 pistol ,but i like a challenge. so firstly ,be sure to really tighten that thumbwheel before piercing ,because it needs it to puncture properly. as for the neysayers that insist pointy pellets jam...hah in yer faces...i used both daisy and crosman pointy pellets and fired both ends of 5 mags without a single hitch. the 5th mag was pathetic ,but the first 4 threw lead 55ft as much on target as possible ,which is where we get to the title of this review. it seems from what others say ,these guns need time to wear in. about 5 co2 cartridges apparently. i agree entirely as the gun gets up to full potential once worn in. as for accuracy...hah...were talking 55ft so the grouping was about 6 inches ,but it did improve a whisker after things settled in. at 20ft the accuracy was much improved ,giving a 2 inch group at most. so to sum up...yes this gun is worth up to 60 bux ,but the umarex 40 xp or 9 xp are far better guns in all ways ,and cost about the same !!!. but if your an avid collector like me then its worth getting just to have a pellet firing blowback as theyre nearly all just bb. i wouldnt reccommend firing bbs in this gun...save yer rifled barrel. as for build quality ,i feel the mag should be metal ,and i wouldve liked to see a hinged backstrap rather than a clip on. also a metal frame would be nice ,but overall the gun feels good and comfortable in the hand. i dont care too much for the piercing system either ,i prefer a good tight screw (no pun intended) ,that way you know exactly how much pressure to use ,which is why i said be sure to really get the co2 thumb tight as much as possible for maximum penetration (again no pun intended). anyhoo enough of my ramblings...so go get yer sum !!!.

Superb quality. Strikingly realistic. Dual fuel.
I like the dual fuel system. Pellet and B B. I like the action, feel and the loudness. The only problem is all blowbacks shoot the first clip awesome. Then quickly lose CO2 power. However, honestly this is in the top 10 pellet pistol that exit. And. One of the most inexpensive. They have to replace the bottom of the clip in my opinion. Just get it. You won’t get buyers remorse!
