As a member of the entertainment industry, I routinely see RoboCups: on dollies, camera carts, DIT stations, etc. As a focus puller (1st AC), it seemed like a no brainer to grab one of these gadgets for my own convenience.Here we go:The clamping mechanism is fantastic and easily grasps the C-Stands I have my monitor mounted to. The rubber contoured jaws mean slipping is a nonissue—even under decently heavy loads. I’ve yet to push it to its limit, but that alone tells you it’s strength. But, what about it’s ability to accommodate larger sized drinks? Well, RoboCup foresaw this issue and created an elegant solution: the ”Plus” accessory.Made of the same robust plastic as the RoboCup, the “Plus” accommodates drinks of nearly any size (including 32 oz Gatorade bottles!!). It also doubles as a convenient storage area for anything from Pancro (camera lens cleaner) and bulb blowers, to T-Markers and laser measures. Now, onto the most exciting part of the RoboCup: the “Front Box” or “Holster” accessory.This thing is genius! Just like the “Plus,” the “Holster” securely attaches to the existing RoboCup device. It provides a partitioned high wall organizer for pens, markers, sharpies, common tools, etc. separate from larger items (smaller Wireless FIZ units, hard tape (measure).

Perfect, just the proper size, holds any shaft or even a square or rectangular piece of wood safely and securely. I have used this on my golf cart, attached it to an easy chair with a 2 foot long round piece of wood and on my door of my computer hutch. Can loosen grip with a simple turning of two nuts. Fits regular cups, gulp size, and for me: Dunkin Donuts large iced coffee size.Contacted robocup.com, received a response within minutes with info I asked for.This item will be my #1 gift on this year's holiday season list - for sure.

received this robocup holder a couple days ago. Very nice and sturdy and I love the way you can unscrew the bottom and also how you can make the drink holder smaller. The thing I didnt care for was its way to big for my sons rollator. He is an adult and there is just not enough room on the rollator to attache it very well. I tried it on his wheelchair and again its to big (the part thats clips on) the cup holder hold a nice size cup and bottle. Just wished the part that clips on the rollator/wheelchair was smaller in length. I did take the velcro straps and secured it around the clip to maybe give it some stability. Just wont be able to put anything very big in the holder and most likely will only be able to use one so the weight of the drinks wont make it fall off. Please consider making the claps shorter in length to allow for use on rollators. It would be nice to have a choice of the clamp size. Would recommend to anyone wanting something like this. If ever you decide to make the clamps smaller I would gladly try them.. Its a great product and very well made.

This is such a great item that we sit in the boat in the yard* just so we can use it!! Very strong clamps and doesn’t slide. Looking forward to putting poles in it too. We will probably buy another one, we purchased this one to see how well we like it.Thinking they’d be great down by our cookhouse or anywhere there is a tubular object to which we can clamp it.*It’s not just we are doing repair & pre-season checks...

Clamps perfectly to a beach umbrella Or beach chair. Holds my fishing pole and a drink! Very clever! Also very sturdy and the clamp will not come loose easy (unless opened correctly).

Ok it is expensive for a cup holder but it by far is the best one I have ever had! It takes quite a bit of force to open the Jaws and when it is locked down it is super steady. I was using it mostly as a ice fishing pole holder (it was AMAZING) and I am thinking of getting another one. Hell I might even get the handle for a pair of them. It looks goofy but the more I think about it the more I could see myself using it.

Best cup holder ever! It is so strong, I am almost not strong enough to get it squeezed to attach it! It stays where you put it and works on my walker and wheelchair. Comes in great colors and works better than the ones made just for medical devices.

I bought this mainly to use on our boat since it only has one built-in cup holder. I received it ina timely manner and in good condition. It does seem to have a great grip to the pole I attached it to and have had no problems with it moving or sliding at speeds up to about 30 mph on the water. When I told my son that it doubles as a rod holder, he wanted to try it out. After putting a pole in it for a couple of minutes it got a small crack on the top of it. Guess, we learned a lesson there. Won't use it as a rod holder...strictly for beverages.
