Garbage died in less than two years
Edit:Monitor completely burned out and turned pink before shutting off permanently. I’ve used it for two years now and am devastated it only lasted that long. I will never spend a dollar on sceptre products again after a $400 can’t make it two years.I came back to buy another monitor of the same kind and saw the other review saying how he couldn't get the full bpc at 144hz but I was able to get full rgb out of the box at 10 and 8 bpc leaving me to believe he just got a bad unit or a hardware problem on his side. The only setting I had to change really was the brightness/gamma.This monitor is literally in a league of its own in terms of resolution, ips display, hz speed, and in the ultra wide category. There isn’t a monitor on here that meets those specs under $1000 that I’ve seen and this is $400 while writing this and seemed to be the first launch of these displays on Amazon for sceptre. It’s truly amazing and one of, if not the first of its quality to be this low in price. That being said, the one and only con, was the packaging. The outside was beat up but that’s the price for anything traveling and usually on UPS’s part. But the monitor itself had this white powdery substance in the packaging and around the back of the monitor with some greasy fingerprints immediately planting the seed of “refurbished”(knowing full well it was new). But after turning it on and playing new world for 12 straight hours on this miracle of a monitor I could care less about some powder lol, but that is just a minor gripe that I also noticed the only other person who reviewed the monitor thus far mentioned as well. The stand is also extremely quality so far in terms of range of motion; EXCEPPPPT the cable management holder is made of a flimsy plastic thats glued onto the back of the mount but is very minor.I’m a big fan of sceptre and have only used them for the past five years so take what you will from my review. My picture shows the new 34’ under my 27’ 1080p curved sceptre monitor as well for references.Ps. The light on the back and how you can change it, although minor, is sorta understated when buying this and was a nice surprise when setting it up to see the customization.

great service department
I purchased this item three years ago as an external monitor, connected now to my M2 MacAir. I recently converted to a standup desk with a monitor arm. I needed to disconnect the supplied monitor stand and connect it to the monitor arm. Sceptre provides the correct screws to do this, but I thought I had discarded those. I reached out to the Sceptre technical service desk ([email protected]) and received great service. It took a few exchanges for me to learn what I needed to know. The service folks at Sceptre were very prompt, very thorough, patient, and accurate in letting me know what I needed. In the end, with the pictures they provided of the screws, I discovered I DID actually have them stored away. And, now my monitor is connected to my Uplift monitor arm. Great service from Sceptre. Monitor has worked flawlessly for three years.

I'm perhaps not the best person to do this review
I'd been using a 56" magnavox (yeah, they are gone now) flat panel television manufactured in 2011 for a monitor for a decade. And props to Magnavox (rest in peace) it's still working great. I just decided I wanted Ultrawide for the first time. I've been playing a lot of War Thunder, and the extra screen width is great for flying planes.I can't believe monitors have gotten this good for this little. There's a sweet spot if you stay at 1080p. You get basically the same performance someone pushing 4K with a top of the line card does. So I stay at 1080p. This monitor with a 6600XT is just perfect. Most games have no problems doing 100hz refresh at 1080p with a 6600XT with quality cranked way up. The monitor looks good. I love the little included "S" projector they included just for giggles you can plug in underneath it. Text was blurry at first, but that was me. I hadn't installed truetype fonts. Now it looks fantastic. I'll regularly have six terminals open so I'd notice blurry text. That was my only worry, and it was unfounded. The built in speakers are terrible but I didn't even know it had them and was expecting to add a soundbar anyway. The Polk Signa S2 just fits underneath it, and curves in the opposite direction to the screen, so ends up looking freaking awesome underneath it. I'd buy this again. Granted, I'd buy whoever is selling it for the least. You get the feeling that you could find this monitor with three or four different brand names on it. That's not a bad thing when it's a good product. Hope this helps.
