Not your average run of the mill romances. It was funny, sad, and swoon worthy ! I can’t wait to read the next one! Although the audible female narrator was ehh, the book was amazing!

This story was Everything! It was full of drama, love, heartbreak, mystery, thrilling , some humor and a strong bond of love for family and friends. The main characters Jack and Noelle had such a special connection and bond that connected at first glance. Soul mates beyond time and space a love and connection that connected them when their eyes connected. Their chemistry was beyond comprehension. I absolutely love and adored their whole love story. I can’t wait to read the other books in the series.👍💗💗🙌🙌🙌

What a delightful book! This is the story of Jackson, the oldest of three brothers and Noelle, the youngest child of a prominent New York family. Jackson and his two brothers, Darby and Casey grew up in a horrifically abusive home; their drunkard father used to beat their mother and the children senselessly. The father ends up killing their mother and then dies in a DUI. Jackson and the two brothers are raised by close family friends of his mother, Moira. Jackson basically has his childhood stolen from him as he always looks out for and has a heavy hand in raising his brothers.Noelle comes from more pampered beginnings but as the youngest child of a prominent political family, she feels she can never please her parents, particularly her snobbish mother. Jackson is the head of his own PR firm and Noelle starts her own small business as an event planner with her good friend Avery. Jackson knows Noelle's family very well bc he handles the PR for Noelle's father, who is a Congressman and Jackson becomes smitten with Noelle from afar but feels she is too young for him and that he is not good enough for her. Unbeknownst to him, Noelle has a secret crush on Jackson as well.Jackson takes advantage of a potential scandal that Noelle is involved in and offers marriage to her as a solution to her problems. Now, normally, I shy away from arranged/fake marriage romance novels bc to me, in this day and age, its just not a realistic/viable plot. But I decided to give this author a try bc the book had good reviews and I'm a fan of IR. I'm so glad I took the chance bc this book was delightful! Yes, the plot was somewhat far-fetched but I found myself not really caring bc the characters were so well developed and the writing was so good. There may have been a tad too many sexually explicit scenes for me - they were juicy but I'd rather have more sappy emotional romance than explicit sex every 10 pages. This is a book you will find yourself deeply immersed in as you watch Noelle and Jackson live out their fantasies about one another while they are simultaneously afraid to let each other know how they really feel. I kept shouting (in my mind): Just be honest and tell him/her how you feel!!! It'd never a good idea to start a relationship with a lie, and in spite of the warnings Jackson gets from his brothers and close family friends, he does just that and of course the lie ends up biting him in the butt later. I also really loved the ending - you may need to get out a Kleenex or two for the last 10 pages.I was glad that the cute couple FINALLY got to their HEA. I also LOVED the other characters in the book; the author features them just enough so you feel like you are getting to know them and you want to know their story. Can't wait to read about all of them, especially Casey and Sidra - ooh la-la! Also felt really intrigued by Alexei and Vivienne.Looking forward to reading the next book in the series; about half way thru this book I went ahead and ordered the next two books

Loved, loved, loved the story of the men from Whisky Row, and at the same time, discovered a new author whose work I can be hooked on. This is the story of three brothers who together shared a horrified childhood situation that no child should ever have to experience. But their situation unified them in an incredible brotherly bond. They loved supported and had each other's backs. Besides, they are three of the most handsome and very hot looking men that I enjoyed reading about. Book one is mainly about the life of the eldest brother, Jack. But it also includes the story of the family dynamics, their love for each other, as well as the people in their lives who they love and who loves them.This book made me laugh, made me cry, and made me wish I was invited to the parties. It is a well written love story that has lots of sex. Warning: The sex scenes are explicit (I do not recommend for the prudish). The details that make up this story are outstanding and amazing. It is very modern, it mentions current events, retailers music and food you may be familiar with. I wanted to be friends with these individuals and live on Whisky Row and travel back and forth with them to NYC. Another thing; there were no loose ends left hanging.The first for me is that as soon as I was finished reading book one. I immediately ordered books two and three. I highly recommend this read and this author's work. It was so good!

I actually listened to this book first in as an Audible and decided to read it for myself. Definitely worth the read!! This is the first book in the series the Men of Whiskey Row and it will have you thanking yourself for reading them in order. The author is great and I will continue to read more of her books!
