Works great -- and is as safe as you make it.
I bought two and put one on the bathroom cabinet facing the toilet (hidden from the front door and the place by the sink). The other one is in the cabinet I built for the cat boxes. The one in the bathroom runs when the bathroom fan is one (you turn a knob as you leave the bathroom, just as before). The one in the cat box cabinet runs on a timer with an adjustable cycle timer that is set to come on for 30 seconds every 20 minutes. It is possible that a cat will be present when it comes on, but my cats don't generally look up at lights, and they don't spend much time in the cabinet. I have read comments that it's not safe not to have an automatic shut-off, but the ozone and UVC lights I've seen with timers generally can't be set to cycle by powering an outlet on and off. With those, you have to press a button, and the on-time is often 30 minutes at a time -- way too much UVC and/or more ozone than needed to refresh the air in the bathroom or cat box cabinet. Use these with confidence -- and a timer you can set to your needs.

UPDATE CAUTION!! Real Deal UVC and Ozone generation
UPDATE WARNING: So I was working in a semi confined space away from the light, far enough that I didn’t think it was an issue. Long story short about 12 hours later, on waking up from nights sleep I COULD NOT SEE! My eyes were insanely blurry and it felt like I had rocks or sand in my eyelids. Nothing worked for the pain, it sucked. Took a few day for my sight to come back but I still have lingering issues and god only knows what type of long term damage has occurred. So don’t be a dumb sh*& like me and work anywhere where this light can be seen and completely air out the area when done. OZONE IS A DANGEROUS GAS and can damage soft tissue like eyes, nose, and throat. And the UV light can cause PERMANENT DAMAGE TO YOUR EYES. Not being able to see for a few days Ive learned that we take our sight for granted, take this product seriously, and use appropriate precautions, and follow the manufacture warnings and directions to a “T” or you will definitely regret it.Disinfected my bathroom, cuttings area, and has been an added bonus to inline air quality control. I bet it would work for water sterilization if you have some wicked diy skills. Speaking of diy skills, the switch is Garbage. If you can replace it first thing and it won’t fry the light. It’s what I’m thinking some of the neg reviews are on as I did mine first thing and it’s still going strong.

Works ok but did shut off unexpectedly once
I purchased this COOSPIDER U/V/C Light Lamp to use as a mineral light by pairing it with a visible light filter glass from etsy. This was done by making a small box to fit the light in and having having a window for the filter glass to illuminate the rocks. It works ok and my corundum glows nicely. Now I want to get a more powerful 26W version to increase the effect.Con: The light started to flicker and I had to turn it off. It's only done this once so I'm not sure if it was the fixture or the bulb.Other thoughts: Do not ever look at a uvc bulb directly or exposure your skin to it. You can severely damage your eyes and the effect can take hours or days to manifest. Always use polycarbonate safety glasses or windows to block UVA/B/C. Also, there is no such thing as a an ozoneless UVC bulb. Ozone is a respiratory irritant. Keep the light on for only short periods of time in a well ventilated area and/or keep the bulb in a sealed enclosure to prevent ozone escape.

Really helped eliminate odors on our boat
Anyone who has a boat with an enclosed salon/space knows how odors can be a problem. Obviously odors exist elsewhere besides boats but my need was specific.I was looking for a solution when a friend recommended this product to me. I purchased one to evaluate its capabilities.I read the instructions and warnings (highly advised) and placed the U/V/C lamp by one of the HVAC output vents on the boat. My expectation was the lamp would "clean" the air coming out of the unit before circulating in the salon and reentering the HVAC intake vent. I left the lamp on overnight for a total of about 18 hours.I was amazed with the results. Odors that had persisted for years in the salon were gone. And 4 weeks later they have not returned! I plan on using it consistently (on a schedule) to keep the salon odor free and to the extent possible, free of anything harmful.I can't wait to try this out in other situations (I have a refrigerator that all the baking soda in the world won't deodorize)!I'll probably but another one so I don't have to carry the one I have around with me. At the price point I paid, it is afforadable.

Comes as shown performs as expected
This is the real deal and to be used with common sense. The ozone is strong and the UVC is as well. In my use i fit this with a timer inside of a filter fan box so no exposure UVC is possable but the ozone is strong so i bought the non-ozone type for my filter fan. You can just change the tube for OZONE or no OZONE type and use same fixture. Over all i have no issues with this product as long as you know what your doing.

Blue uv light
Works well if you have time for it. The bulb is atmospheric and will cause a smell that isn't pleasant. Your NOT supposed to be in the room with it and after your done you switch it off and have to wait till the smell is gone. Witch can take a few hours and it needs to be well ventilated for that.

Dangerous
This thing is incredibly dangerous. Best case scenario is that you read and follow all the warnings. What that entails is that you never use this light when you're in the room and that you either have a well ventilated room or wait a while to go back into your room so that all the Ozone dissipates (ozone is unhealthy to breath and this thing puts out a ton of it).Worst case scenario is that you treat the warnings like when Q-tips say not to use them in your ears. I bought this to see some rocks that glow under low range UV lights. The LW UV lights for this purpose are very expensive so I wanted to give this <$20 light a try. I used this light for less than a couple minutes and didn't stare directly into the light. A few hours after I used it one of my eyes started burning. The eye damage was so bad and painful I had to tape one of my eyes shut for a full 24 hours before it got better and that was just after 3-4 minutes of indirect exposure.
