Easy to install! Works great

One star is too much. Some generic cameras that worked on previous DVR had grossly distorted colors and noise. Monitoring software crashes and then won't reconnect for about an hour and your layout is lost. Worst of all Hikvision starts shutting down cameras after 5 minutes of watching which is what crashes the monitoring program. Their answer is "program is not intended for continuous monitoring." SERIOUSLY? I have an office manager at my auto repair shop who wants cameras up on a screen so he can tell if the wrecker is dropping a car at the wrong spot, some idiot is blocking the driveway etc. It doesn't take much imagination to know that "continuous monitoring" is a basic function of any camera system. You are supposed to be able to view cameras within your LAN directly by IP address but this function mostly does not work or if it does takes 10-20 minutes to load. Incredible that the biggest security camera system company in the world would sell such a total piece of garbage but then GM sold the Chevrolet Vega, Ford sold the Edsel and Chrysler sold the PT Looser.
