Wonderful doll. Decided to return it only because the gift recipient is still under three and a smaller, softer doll works better for now. But would buy again when he is older.

I just received this doll today and am trying to decide whether to keep it. It arrived in a large box inside a plastic bag. As other reviewers commented, it does not come with any underwear. I have to agree that for $49.99 it should at least have underwear/shorts as shown in the site picture. It does have a very handsome face and seems well made however I don’t know what to do about the strings behind its neck!?! This was not bought as a gift or for a child but by an adult collector. The packaging and strings behind the neck might present more of an issue if sent as a gift or for a child. I would definitely recommend dealing with the strings before giving it to a child. The head, arms, and legs are very hard plastic but the body is material and is soft and huggable. The eyes open and close easily and appropriately. I think it will be fine as a doll for display (if I decide to keep it) once I get some clothing for it. Other than the issues stated above, overall it appears to be well made and is a cute doll.9/6/2024So l am keeping this doll as it is well made and a nice addition to my collection. I found some clothes for it here on Amazon that will look very cute. It is a good value for the price.

Yea I found a string with a white string around his neck. I'm also purchased a male doll, but he has blush on his cheeks. I also searched for American doll and received this knock-off version.

I liked everything about him. He lookes a lot better in his new clothes. I am 78yrs old this is my doll I love it thank you Patricia Westbrooks
