Nice punch -- good for loyalty and discount card programs
I do business development work in a non-profit that revitalizes a blighted area of the city in which I live. I bought this so I could talk to business operators about loyalty programs. We also needed the punch as we experimented with a discount card program with a large card. You know -- where you get a card stamped every time you buy something, and after so many purchases you get something free.I thought this punch was ideal as it provides a very unique die for punching out the card each time a person buys something. The die is not round -- it makes two parallel, straight lines. You can also buy other die shapes like stars and hearts using the information on the rear of the package in which the tool comes.Funny, though -- I gave it away to a business operator who runs a Chinese restaurant and who has a loyalty program. She just initials the card and puts the date of the sale on it. For me, this is an invitation for fraud as the signature can be traced. I found out from the staff that she likes the signature on the card better than this punch I gave her, so I took it back. So, you have two opinions here. I vouch for this punch.By the way, the 2" reach is also good for those rack cards that contain multiple deals. The punch is capable of reaching far into the card to cut out deals that have been redeemed etcetera -- my regular hole punch was not capable of doing this -- that is why I bought this punch, and liked it.

Fine
Does the job but it takes a lot of hand strength to get it to punch

This hole punch is working well.
I was concerned over the reviews that talked about misalignment but so far my punch is working well. I am punching through thin chipboard plus 2 layers of cardstock. I do not have to apply undo pressure. I am not punching a lot of items at one time but it is working well for what I expected. The price is very reasonable and I love the 2 inch reach.

Perfect punches every time!
I ordered the 1/4", 1/16", and the 1/8" punches to use making stars from a dinosaur paper star book I got at the City Museum in St. Louis! The punches have a 2" reach, so it's easy to get it into the strange little spots I need to without creasing the paper. The punch is very sturdy, and the grips are rubberized and large enough that it makes punching through multiple folds of the paper super easy. They punch clean and the edges are sharp and crisp. Definitely will stick with this brand for any hole punches I may need to buy in the future!

Decent quality. But wouldn't use for more than 5-8 punches at a time
The product works well but it takes a ton of force to make a hole. Fine for 1 or 2. But if you need to make a ton it will hurt your hand.

Works very well. Easy grip!
I use it to make holes in my EPP Hexagon Papers so I can pull them out easier after project is pieced. The length on these is perfect for centering the punch hole on my papers. Great value!

Frustrating for sure
Had to buy several of these before I got one that works. The machining work between the punch pin and the hole is shoddy at best. Also, the handles are not very sturdy, leading the a misalignment of the punch and hole. It works about 50% of the time. When it doesn't work, it jams and the handles cannot be squeezed. The make matters worse, the plastic handles slide up and down on the handles, making it difficult to use. It proves you can put any brand or label on a product, but that doesn't make it better.
