I am a collector of kaleidoscopes. For the price this is a rare find. Yes it’s cardboard but so what! It has 2 separate viewing openings and each end of the kaleidoscope has a different mirror configuration so you get completely unique showings. It is spectacular when you think about the price and simplicity of it. Cheers to the artist! These are Devine! I will purchase several as gifts! Gifts appropriate for kids or adults!

I have a small kaleidoscope collection & this was such a unique one I decided to get it. I have only used this as a single person. I can't comment what it's like with two people using this @ the same time. But, I have noticed it needs sunlight to see it well. I love being able to flip it & see out of the other side. It's also a plus for me that there is oil in the middle which slows everything down as you watch it. I like the colors of one side better than the other even though it's one chamber in the middle. The reason I took off one star is because although I like the paper on the outside, I suspect the body of the kaleidoscope itself is cardboard. More like the kaleidoscope's I got as a kid that were cheaply made. I don't know if I would recommend it as a gift to adults but teen's would probably love it!

I collect kaleidoscope and to have a double sided one?!? This is so cool! Two people stand, one on each end, light source above, and turn this beauty a d both can see the gorgeous colors.and shapes at the same time! I shared with a momma ANF her 4 yr old son, who was new to kaleidoscopes, and both were utterly enchanted. An amazing find.

This didn't have as many color patterns as I had hoped. I think its better suited for a child or teen, as I gave mine away to a teen who like it.I'm a 'senior' - so, not really age appropriate.

I purchased this kaleidoscope to add to a swag bag for the launch of my new YA novel, Life is a Kaleidoscope, and I am so pleased with it! I spent about an hour searching Amazon for a nice kaleidoscope at a good price, but I just wasn't happy with any of them. But when I saw that this one was offered by Bits & Pieces, a company I've purchased several items from in the past, I was sure it would be a good one. Also, blue forget-me-nots factor heavily in my story, so the fact that this kaleidoscope is covered in blue flowers was a nice bonus!I'm happy to say this kaleidoscope does not disappoint! The price was very reasonable, and it's a great size. (For comparison, my book is 6x9). It comes with a little stand, and it has two eye holes—one at each end—and a chamber with colorful bits and bobbles in the middle. The photos I've included are actually from inside this kaleidoscope. As you can see, one side is round, and the other is square. I prefer the square one, but the colorful bits create beautiful patterns no matter which eye hole you look through.Oh, and another bonus—the kaleidoscope comes in a sturdy navy box, which makes it perfect for gifting. I'm really happy to be adding it to my swag bag, and I know the recipient will love it. Now I'm off to order one for myself!

Bought for a Christmas gift for my Godson.

Very cheap.The kaleidoscope view was stuck and was frozen so it wasn’t functional. Wasn’t worth the time to return it because of the holidays. I just threw it out.

I am so impressed with this kaleidoscope. We bought it for our 4 year old grandaughter who is in love with one we have on a larger scale. The colors are so vibrant and the color and shape changes are so fluid because of the oil it contains. I would highly recommend this kaleidoscope to anyone looking for a good quality item at a great price!
