It doesn’t always work does it?
I hooked it up,tested good. Weather was bad so didn’t drive it for about a month. Ran it yesterday and started quit working and has a rattle inside of itself

Burnt Smell-Failing to work. Won't purchase again.
This item was installed and initially worked great. After a few trips around the property, the item began to smell like burnt electrical wiring. Upon inspection, the item was extremely hot to the touch and would no longer power the engine. This is the second starter/generator that I've installed on my cart within the past three months. The original starter/generator lasted over 20yrs. I won't return this item to Amazon or the seller because I'm still waiting for a refund from the last unit I purchased through Amazon. I'll purchase another starter/generator for my cart but it won't be from Amazon.

never heard anything from Manufacturer about swapping out for new one...
I just need to swap out for a new one... Stem on top of starting is not tight.. no connection.. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP?????????
