Very full bodied and dry
This is a very full bodied Sauvignon Blanc, this isn't currently available on Amazon but upon doing a bit of research I see it is priced at around £23, it does have a screw top, but I appreciate that some wines do better with a screw top as it does not allow oxygen to enter the bottle.On the nose this is incredibly fruity, citrussy and peachy. The dryness of this wine surprised me as it smells so much sweeter but as I enjoy a drier wine, such as Pinot, this is very much to my palate. This is 13.5 vol which comes across, it's a strong, sipping wine, one where every sip is so full flavoured, you enjoy every mouthful.This is perfect paired with fish, white meats or pasta. It's a classic Sauvignon but drier than i've tried before, it has that slightly fizzy feeling on the tongue when you drink it also.It's an enjoyable bottle, it's not one i'd necessarily buy again as for me there’s nothing outstanding in the taste, I’ve tasted similar cheaper Sauvignon Blancs but it's enjoyable and packs a punch and if you enjoy a fruity wine this is so full flavoured and worth a try.
