A great OEM part
A great OEM part. I bought this for an older model HRT mower I bought non-working on Craigslist. Replacing the carburetor fixed the issue with the mower, and it now works perfectly. It doesn't come with instructions, so it took me a minute to figure out where the gaskets were supposed to go because the previous owner had tried to fix it but took all the gaskets off. I ended up looking it up on Honda's parts website to be sure I had it right.

Does not include all gaskets
As you disassemble the carb from the engine. Take a pic of your parts and gaskets showing the assy sequence. You’ll thank yourself later for that. This product does NOT come with all the gaskets. I should have noticed that. It’s missing 1 of the gaskets that sit on either side of the metal control arm. I was able to scavenge an old gasket. Other than that worked like a champ. Started on first pull and no more surging.

Wrong Gasket
The carburetor worked just fine, but one of the four gaskets was the wrong one for the mower that this was listed for (the square one). I had to reuse one of the old gaskets.

Back to starting on first pull! - No adjustments needed
The kit does not come with any instructions, so pay attention to the carburetor and gasket placement when you remove the current/old unit. Secondly, yes, installing a new carburetor and gaskets on the mower is somewhat tedious, take your time. Attach your springs and throttle line first, then start lining up the plates, gaskets, carburetor on one of the bolts and screw in until there is a hint of resistance. Next take screwdriver and start manipulating the above parts from underneath/side to get the other bolt holes aligned. Take your time and slide, wiggle, tap the bolt through the hole into position. Then tighten the bolts. Patience is a virtue, you can do it! Don't forget to attach the gas line back.

A little tricky to install but works fine. Used gasket adhesive for the gaskets. Without it you are holding three different gaskets in place while installing the carborator

Great fit, wish it came with gasket order
My only complaint with this is that it didn't come with an order that the gaskets should be put on. That would have been really handy for me since my old gaskets were so far gone that I had to scrape them off and so I didn't know the order. Otherwise, it's perfect for my HRT216 mower.
