VictrolaWooden Record Crate, Stores 50 Records, Rustic Brown, 14"x13.5"x11.8"

I found my vinyl records from my college days. The only way to hear them again was buy a record player. Then I wanted a storage place. I liked the crate box look. Took me back to my early apartment days. Actually this storage unit is nice. Looks sturdy and is sturdy. It was very easy to assemble. It is not especially big so it fits into the space I had to keep the records. There are several choices of color making it more likely you will find one that fits into you decor.

The listing didn't mention the was not a new item and one of side pieces had a split in left tab. It inserts into another piece so it's not visible, but I had to be very careful putting it together. Otherwise it looks as advertised. I am a little concerned about how it holds up when fully loaded though.

The box is very nice, records fit snugly but can easily move to see them. The records stick out the top so you cannot stack anything on top of this. When we put it together, very easily, it kept coming apart. One false move and it would slide apart. Out came the wood glue! I recommend assembling the box to see how it all goes together, then disassemble it totally and fill in the grooves with wood glue and reassemble. I did this and it is nice and sturdy. I didn't have any clamps so used masking tape all over it to hold it together while the glue dried. Worked nicely. I didn't do the best job of wiping up all the glue but it isn't noticeable at all. Took about half an hour, well worth it. I would buy this again, it is nice quality. I wish the price was a tad less for having to fix the box so it would work in the first place but alternative storage cases and stands are all more expensive than this, so, this one works well. Very happy with it now.

Easy to put together, holds records as advertised.

I liked that it WAS easy to assemble (I failed to notice the 'assembly required' statement), and my albums do fit nicely, and even my wife likes how it looks - yet, if there is a future purchase, I might search for a $10 - $15 cheaper product.
