FUGAPROOF, Grout Sealer Spray, 750ml

Great product, but doesn’t semi to bead as other customer suggest, easy to apply and goes far. I used it for shower wall tiles.

Used it but did not see any big results in water repellent

I wanted a water-based sealer to protect the silver grey grout in our newly-tiled floor. Being water-based, there's no odour and the sealer penetrates the grout and doesn't simply seal the surface. Application is easy with the trigger spray, although very wasteful as 30-50% of it lands on the adjacent tiles rather than on the grout line. This could've been improved by the manufacturer fitting a nozzle with a narrower fan pattern. An alternative would be to empty the contents of the bottle into a container and use a small brush to apply along the grout line; however, that would become very tedious, very quickly, when dealing with a large area of flooring.I applied according to the instructions. There's no mention of needing a 2nd application, so I applied just 1 coat, wiping excess off the tiles with a cotton cloth as I went. Our tiles are glazed porcelain, so I wasn't overly concerned about overspray, but unglazed or natural stone tiles would absorb the sealant, so I'd advise using a brush to apply in that instance, as you can be far more accurate with the application.I've uploaded pics of a drop of water sitting on a treated area of grout vs an untreated area. Clearly, the grout protector has been effective and is keeping the water from being absorbed into the grout. How long the protection will last remains to be seen. I would assume this will depend largely on the amount of foot traffic and cleaning. However, in terms of the product's effectiveness at sealing grout, it certainly does what it says.

Well...i didn't knew your need a second spray to use it and it doesn't seem to be worth the money.

So far white grout protected and not stained .. a must !

Applied with small art brush - well worth the extra time, hardly any cleanup from tiles.
