Bandai Hobby - Gundam Wing - #236 Gundam Heavyarms, Bandai Spirits HGUC 1/144 Model Kit

My girlfriend will love this model. When we talked about our favorite anime growing up, she mentioned Gundam Wing. This made me happy and she mentioned which character she liked, Trowa. She wanted to do Gunpla but has yet to do so. This is a good model to start with. She'll be so happy. The package came in the right time frame and wasn't crushed. A+

This kit took me about an hour to detail (some paint pens/markers to highlight details, plus putting on the decals I wanted to use) and perhaps four hours to build. There were no particular tricky parts to the assembly process. Once built the kit has more range of motion than you might think, although I expect some of the joints to loosen over time because the beam gatling/shield unit is a bit on the heavy side for an accessory. (To offset this, I have mine posed with it in a tight vertical orientation where it is also braced a bit by the torso gun doors.)I'm very satisfied with the kit; I'd say in terms of range of motion for posing, ease of building, and basic aesthetics (i.e., how it looks without paint, decals, etc) this kit is a bit above average for the age and grade of the kit.

All of these models are amazing. Literally you put each and every tiny piece together, and it makes a cool guy. It’s my kids. But, I help him. With the tiny stickers and junk.He really likes these, as do I.The only problem is that some of their weaponry is really delicate and breaks easily.But my kid has a solution, using the left over plastic, he can make other weapons, though not as intricate, but still. I love me boy.

Box came pretty smashed but the pieces were fine. Easy to assemble. I think the stickers are useless and Ill be painting it.

So where do I start with this kit it's so amazing if you're a huge Gundam Wing fan like I am I grew up watching this when I was a young kid it is a must have because Bandi seem to always abandon GW for some reason even though Gundam Wing is one of the biggest Gundam series in the US but the articulation is amazing the old no grades are the ones that I grew up with when I was a kid and man has it come a long way the look of it's amazing I just got back into gunpla and wow I really love it I hope they make a Master grade version or a real grade version probably shouldn't get my hopes up but if you are a beginner this is a good kit to start

Old school kits like these are nostalgic but lack the newer technology you find in newer model kits. But if you want a bad a** Gundam with a mini gun, you can’t skip out on this kit.

This is a must have kit for fans of Wing. Great bold colors and detail. It’s a fairly simple kit, and not difficult to panel line. In the photo I’ve just used grey and black gundam panel liner markers, some cheap silver acrylic paint on the guns and missile pods, and Mr Super Clear Flat topcoat (can’t recommend that stuff enough).The price here on Amazon is fine, free* shipping after all. If you’re planning to buy multiple different kits, you’re better off shopping around.The blue chevron chest stickers are a pain. Paint them if you’re comfortable with a brush.

this is one of my favorites gundam and always wanted to build but thought it would be hard but it wasnt. great start kit. not to big and not to small with plenty of details. just a little panel lines and looks great.
