The media could not be loaded. Works as it should, changes the ride slightly, make sure to also properly camber your front driveline to avoid Death Wobble commonly known in jeeps. (Google it) simple fix at any alignment shop.

Plan on a few hours for this project.
After noticing my old leaf springs being about flat, I decided I would purcahse these to restore stock height while i saved up for some new leaf springs. These installed easily on my '00 XJ Sport, I won't even go into how much of a bear it was getting the old ones off besides saying a whole can of PB Blaster and lots and lots of heat. It came with all the hardware, but two bolts are actually shorter and they go in the lower part while the longer ones go in the top. On my '00 I did not need the nuts/washers for the top bolts as it bolts into a nut in the frame. You can see the bolt is not an exact match to the one that came out in the picture. You can also see the bloody knuckles received from removing the old shackles.Another point to keep in mind, I used a 21mm socket to get the old bolts out, a 22mm socket to put the new one in the top, and the bottom bolt was standard not metric so you need to have multiple tools. So, why 4 stars instead of 5? The mix of hardware was unhandy although I do love the extra height, I gained about an inch and a half in the top holes. No instructions either.F.Y.I. If you have a Reese hitch you will need to remove it to put in the shackle on the exhaust side since you want the head next to the exhaust not the nut since the nut is larger and may make contact with the exhaust.

Fit perfect
My 1999 Jeep Cherokee XJ already had a Rough Country 3 inch lift kit installed.I needed a little extra boost to fit 33-12.50R15s.These shackles were the solution for the rear of my Jeep

Fits 89 Cherokee
1989 Jeep Cherokee Laredo. Leafs are worn and pretty much flat. Since i put 31s the fender will rub on the tire when i hit ditch or bump. This shackle works great to provide the clearance i need. I still will be replacing the leafs but this shackle is a great work around for now. Oh and it is not regreasable so make sure you grease up your bushings before you install them. Installed in about 20-30 minutes. Very simple and easy. Just used the existing nut and bolt instead of the hardware it came with

Easy installation
Very easy installation after you get the old stock shacles out. Removed bumper bolt preventing full articulation of shackle. Raised XJ up 1.5 in the rear. Still have one more hole if I need to go higher later on. Used this product to raise the rear after installing a heavy tire carrier bumper. Works well and it rides alot better too.

Easy install, poor bolts and nuts
Easy to install and look great. Definitely put my 01 Xj up almost two inches. I found the grade and thread pitch on the bolts wrong. Well worth getting a higher grade bolt with the correct thread pitch
