We have been looking for a book of good, practical recipes for fish - and finally we have found it. There are some very good pages describing how to prepare fish and then the recipes are relatively simple to do and the results are delicious. Great

A lovely book
The book covers the main types of fish and there are good recipes for each main type of fish but the comments by the market traders of how they like to eat fish and shell fish are delightful. They are not at all posh chef and you might think, "oh my goodness that would ruin the fish." It is, however, about how they enjoy fish, not about being posh and proper. It about, make it how you like it and eat it as it suits you. Enjoy your fish. Just get to know it and enjoy it. The recipes that are there vary from easy to do on to more professional. The message is really, Billingsgate is one of the best fish markets in the world and the traders there care about it. It says make the most of it. Don't be afraid to try to cook fish and don't be afraid to try it. If you can't do Billingsgate, just do you best and be happy with Fish! of course. Love book.
