Everything worked the way it should. This allowed me to connect an older flatscreen monitor to my newer laptop via USB to VGA connections. The kit also included a few other adapters which will be useful if I switch monitors in the future.

I TOTALLY had to change the star rating and post the updated comments below, these guys are AMAZING!This is my first post that got 3 stars at the first, and this sent to manufacturer as well...Here is what I just sent to the manufacturer: Hello. I bought this product recently, as well as 4 other different pieces of gear well over a year ago, for hooking up our studio office. Every single other piece of gear (USB to VGA) and USB 3.0 7 way splitters all work Awesome! I bought this device for situations where older gear may come into use and put it on the shelf till that time. Yesterday I pulled it out to use just to hook up another screen as I knew it could do that, and well.. it has continual intermittent shut off and turn on issues. When it's off, if I wiggle it it will turn back on again and blue light goes back on. But it is wreaking havoc with my graphics card blinking everything off and on cycling like that.As so far I have LOVED PLUGGABLE STUFF, and would prefer to continue using ALL Pluggable product and promoting it, as I understand sometimes electronics just don't work out of the box.Is there anyway I could get a replacement?Three stars just for this product, as the Pluggable makes GREAT products, I LOVE the EASE in which they install and how easy they configure. Also the video is not noticeable as being non-native to the PC! Amazing in this regard.Will change ratting after I hear back from my FIRST EVER claim report to Pluggable, but I have heard good things :)Thank you.I got a reply within the hour! WOW! They were so amazing to help and with their quick responses, I have never had such good customer service from almost any company. I hope they keep this Golden standard for sure.I was notified the product I bought was still within the 1st year under warranty, but that even if it was out that they would like to see what they could do to help. As it was they said they would send me a replacement right away and asked for my current address which had changed from USA to Canada. Everything is working perfectly, as it should, and as ALWAYS ALL of the Pluggable products I have had INSTALL and Work GREAT!!So the moral of the story is, no company produces 100% zero failure rate product, BUT few companies are easy to deal with when honoring these defects to the consumer. Pluggable in my book gets 5 stars for quality of easy working products, as well as 5 stars for going ABOVE and Beyond measure to get me a working product again, EVEN IN ANOTHER COUNTRY!!BUY WITH CONFIDENCE! Edit: I used this on the PC side for a few days, it worked great with the Display Fusion software, then stopped working altogether. I have isolated the issue to the Pugable card (not the cable or monitor, and emailed Plugable; I will update with their solution.Edit2: It was just the USB cable. I am having good luck with this overall, the only issue is on the Windows side it seems to wake up cranky from sleeping and I have to restart to regain full multi-monitor functionality. This could be from a variety of reasons but my feeling is that the free third-party software may be a good place to start looking since I don't need it on the Mac side where I don't have these issues. /edits.I bought this because of the stated Mac support even though I don't have USB 3.0 on the computer I hooked this to (2011 Mac Mini). The price difference was small compared to the 2.0 version and I wanted to be future proof. Plus I already have an older USB 2.0 version of this laying around somewhere from when they first came out that I can't find.So I was understandably a bit put out when I opened the box and was greeted by a piece of paper that said this product was only for PCs, and the Mac was not supported! I poked around a bit (including going back to this listing to be sure that I had not hallucinated the Mac support), and found that Apple had revised their OS enough for these to be supported just recently and only with the newest versions of OS X.So I downloaded the latest Mac driver from Plugable and it has worked flawlessly with my second Asus VS228H-P 22" display, using a DVI connection. The only hiccup seems to be when my desktop image changes, I get a bit of static/flicker so I set it on a static image for that display. That's the only reason it's not getting 5 stars, will bump the rating it if a solution is found!I plan to use it on the PC side (Win 7/Boot camp) soon, but have not yet. Edit: now I have, and after a few days the monitor no longer works (resolved), causing the edit at the beginning of this review.
