If it can survive my frenchie…. It’s a good toy
I’m coming back for a written review after leaving 5 stars. My little adorable frenchie is the terminator of dog toys. He’s a serial killer of inanimate stuffed objects. The beating heart didn’t stay for long he kept getting it out of the pouch. After 6 1/2 months this toy still has all its stuffing. Until he managed to rip its heart out it did actually calm and soothe him. Now it’s his hump buddy. I’ve washed it at least 7 times and it’s the only original toy he has left from his earlier puppy time with us. Kudos. Very durable

Buddy loves it!
I got a 9 week old rescue puppy and brought him home, he was sad because of being taken away from his brother. The first night wasn't good at all, I could see the sadness in his eyes I ordered this bear. The day I got it I turned it on put it on Buddy's bed he went right to it laid down and not even 2 minutes later Buddy was sleeping❤️ I highly recommend this product for anyone thinking about getting a puppy or if you already have one!

Stopped working in 1 week (update)
I got 1 week out of this and it stopped working. I even put brand new batteries in it and nothing. Very disappointed.Update: Amazon sent a replacement and this one has lasted a little over a week now so I’m happy!

Comfort Toy
We got Bear before picking up our puppy at 8-weeks old in in the fall of 2021. This is one of two friends that he still gravitates to and carries around. He sleeps with and protects Bear. I haven't had to mend it yet, but the zipper has extensive wear/doesn't work anymore. We never used the heart or heat packs as the stinker figured out how to unzip it within the first week. Now that we know how much our now 18-month dog loves this, I am ordering a second one to keep in a closet to have a spare. Pictures are from November 2021 and January 2022.

Embarrassing gift
Not only does it not work but I am 99% sure it was a previous return. This was bought as a gift for my granddaughter's new crying puppy. My daughter told me it was in a bag, no heat pack, no instructions and dirty. I did not pay for a used item and btw, not cheap. I am going to return. Shame on Amazon, plus they want to charge to return.

It's ok
I had something similar years ago for my first dog a soft small warming bean bag plush for him at night. I wanted this for my new puppy but it's not what I thought it would be. It doesn't warm up well at all. I did the cup thing in the microwave and it still took quite a while to get it warm. Then the toy is so big and stuffed that the warmth barely comes through. I haven't tried the heart beat part yet though. Good idea, just not what I was expecting.

LIFESAVER!!
If I could give this 10 stars I would. My husband and I decided to get a second dog, and he flew out to vet her and bring her home at 10.5 weeks. She obviously had never been on a plane and we were nervous about How she’d do on the 4 hour trip after leaving her litter for the first time.I ordered this because I’d read they can help a puppy feel like they’re sleeping with mom/litter mates, and while the stuffed animal itself was a little too big to put in the airline carrier with her, we were able to take the heartbeat out and just take that.My husband said he had a hard time getting her settled in the carrier at first but that as soon as he put the beating heart under her blanket, she curled right up on it and went to sleep. He said it did an amazing job of calming her down.Definitely worth the $$!
