It's not green!
The pic makes the toolbox look green; mine is a solid black. Very nice size for the homeowner, non-contractor like me. The interior tray is a little small, but good for holding screwdrivers and such. There are two yellow compartments on top of the lid for holding fasteners - very handy, you don't loose anything and you don't need to open the box just to pull out a screw. The latches are sturdy and close with a satisfying thump. I have not slammed this around in the back of a pickup, but it looks like it is designed well to deflect/absorb impacts. It is much lighter than my Dad's old steel toolbox, and it will not gouge you with sharp edges, ever. Yes, it's plastic, but a nice grade of high-impact plastic. This will last me forever. Good buy for the price.

Very good quality product and sturdy. Perfect size.
Really sturdy and the perfect size and it’s exactly what I thought I was ordering. Do you know when sometines you order something and it slightly exceeds what you thought you’d get in really good ways? That was what happened here. I couldn’t possibly be any happier. Highly recommended.

It’s a five star plastic product.
For a plastic toolbox, this is pretty nice. I had a similar model which lasted for several years and really had no complaints. I wish I could afford a high-quality metal box, but I can’t, so this will suffice for my home user purposes.

I stick with Stanley
I've had a smaller Stanley and then I grew into a larger Stanley. Now I've grown into this one. It may not be for heavy construction use, but it is great for everyday use. I love the separate compartments on the top for various small items and it's lockable to keep your tools safe if you can't keep your eye on the five-finger-discount types. I've never had a problem with a Stanley toolbox.

A piece of junk
This tool box is a junk!!!!! I had it one day and the plastic around the hinge broke. It is large enough to hold a lot of tools but not strong enough to hold any!!! The Stanley company should be ashamed to put their name on this piece of scrap.

Arrived damaged.
Seems like it would have worked just fine for what I needed, but as it will be riding around in the bed of my pickup, the whole it arrived with will not work.

False advertising
As many others have stated, the picture shown and the description are not accurate. I don't know how or why it hasn't been fixed but those details are important when shipping online. In fact, we rely on those words to make a decision. The picture shown is of a Stanley toolbox but the 2000 series. I know because i own one. What you receive is just a black Stanley toolbox, it doesn't have a model or series. This is the second time I have been tricked. I bought a 19" inch the first time thinking I would receive a 2000 series and received a plain black one with half tray size. I went ahead and bought another one, this time a 24" inch. Again, a 2000 series shown and a plain black one sent.Despite that glitch, it's a strong toolbox nonetheless. The half size tray is awkward and keeps falling off inside the toolbox itself thereby scattering all the small items placed on the tray. I expected better from Stanley.Ps: the Stanley 2000 series is the best toolbox I have ever owned. If you can get your hands on one of these you won't regret it trust me.

Good value
Like it for keeping all the accessories with the power or air tools in one place, air grinders with the bits , grinder with a selection of grinding and cutoff wheels.
